Acacia Road 378 - a cc-free midcentury shell by moonwoodhollow
Here we go again with my first 'official' midcentury build for 2025, which is probably not the last, so consider this a prelude for what's to come. Enjoy!
info/floorplan + download link under the cut!
So what do you get?
Acacia Road 378 is a very small starter home that is perfect for a single sim or a couple. There's very little room to extend the house, but it's possible if you so wish. The house consists of one large dining and living room, a kitchen, a guest bathroom, and a bedroom with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom.
The lot was created for the Agave Abode lot in Oasis Springs.
I tested a build by @whyeverr on this lot before and my game still considers this lot to be hers originally, but it's not (I promise!! haha).
-> I forgot to place a door to the closet! Just add one of the doors I used in the house or place one of the closets from Get Together in there.
Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all expansion packs. You will only need a few gameplay packs and kits, but a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from that pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

TOU: Please don’t claim as your own or put behind paywalls etc. If you find any issues please let me know + tag me if you’ll use the building, I’d love to see it in your games.

2k follower gift: Casa de Tedeji 22 - a cc lot by moonwoodhollow
It’s finally time for one of my favourite buildings I have done in a while; Casa de Tedeji 22!
Casa de Tedeji 22 is a mostly unfurnished residential lot that is best placed in Ciudad Enamorada. This lot was inspired by the film Roma, and I hope you'll find it as charming as I do! This building consists of three different houses, and you could either have just one family living there, or you could fill all three houses with families and watch the drama unfold. Either way, I hope you have fun with this lot & thank you again, for 2k followers!
More screenshots, info + download link under the cut!
Building background
As someone who's never been to Mexico, I still wanted to create a somewhat realistic building for Ciudad Enamorada that perfectly fits into the world.
The house that I first thought of, was the 'main' house in which most of the plot of the film Roma by Alfonso Cuarón took place. Even though I watched the film some time ago I often kept thinking back to the house and the architecture of Mexico City in the 70s. So I looked up the filming locations and found out that the house actually still exists, you can read about more here and here if you're interested.
While building I obviously changed a few things from the original structure, because I did not want to recreate the house entirely, as I didn't have too many inside-the-house photos, so I went to googlemaps and got inspired by the neighbouring houses and that's how this building or these three buildings came to be!
So what do you get?
Case de Tedeji 22 is a 30x20 residential build best placed in Ciudad Enamorada on the Mansión de la Pasión lot. It probably could also work on other lots, but it looks best on that one. The lot is unfurnished, meaning I only added the outdoor decor but kept the houses completely unfurnished except for flooring and wallpaper + a floorplan for each house.
house one: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fenced-in garden
house two: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a balcony, courtyard
house three: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), rooftop space
If you own For Rent, you could change the lot type to residential rental, but obviously, even without that pack, you could play with up to 8 sims/three families on this lot.
Uses items from the following packs: I will update this, once I hop back into game, but I own almost all packs.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the CC-creators, without their creations, I wouldn’t have been able to build this!

Constance Perkins House
a cc-free shell by moonwoodhollow
This house is among my favourite designs by Richard Neutra, one of the most famous midcentury modern architects, and it's - at least for me - a timeless classic. It only made sense to finally try my hand at building this beauty, and I can only hope I somewhat succeeded.
More screenshots, info + download link under the cut!
building background
This house was born when Constance Perkins, an art historian, commissioned Richard Neutra to design a house for her. Her budget was merely 17.000$, and the lot in Pasadena that she bought was small and on a slope, which made the design process somewhat of a challenge. Perkins and Neutra collaborated on the design, and she had chosen him specifically because she liked his previous work: open spaces, large windows, unpainted redwood or stained pine walls and doors. She "wanted a very small house in which she could live and work, but also a place where she could entertain. These criteria required Neutra to reexamine the familiar single-family home [...] and to rework the conventional patterns of the type." (p. 176)
To get to know his client, "he requested [Perkins] write an autobiography and supply him with a list of "likes and dislikes" on every subject from textures to light levels to colors and smells." (p. 174)
When the house was finished in 1955, the reception was mostly positive and Perkins herself was full of praise: "To me, a truly great architect is not one who merely skillfully manipulates a construction to meet the individual needs of a client, important as these are. He [Neutra] is one who, doing this, also creates an "art object." My home is not just my "machine for living"; it is my environment. Living includes thinking and feeling as well as mechanical existence. Living is a way of life. To be full it needs an environment that pricks every sense with which the human being is endowed, an environment that is specifically ordered to give direction to ordered thought." (p. 184)

So what do you get?
The Constance Perkins House is a 40x30 residential lot best placed in San Sequoia on the “13 Acacia Avenue” lot in the Gilbert Gardens neighbourhood. It might also look good somewhere else, though.
The house consists of an open floor plan with a living and dining area, a kitchen, and a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There's also a spare room that could be used as a 2nd bedroom or as an office. There's a 2nd bathroom as well. The house has two terraces, one has a pool and is only accessible through the living room.
Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all packs, but a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from that pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

Mulberry St. 31
a cc-free shell by moonwoodhollow
This lot has been in my drafts way before my vacation, but it wasn't completely finished yet, and I didn't want to rush it. It was born from my disappointment that San Sequoia was sorely missing some mcm houses, so I felt like I needed to step up and build this, and that's exactly what I did. I hope you'll enjoy these 2 buildings and fill them with life/sims!

building background
I initially started with the house on the right (the corner house) because I wanted to build a structure that fit into the world of San Saquoia. As always, I ended up using a little bit of colour on the exterior walls because that's just how I like to build, and I think the turquoise tiles actually fit quite well and add a little Art Déco vibe to the building.
The house on the left is inspired by the Rose Seidler house in Sydney, Australia, although the floor plan that I created was not modeled after the real one, because it is a rather small lot in the game (20x15 I'd guess), but I'm really happy with the result!
The Rose Seidler house was designed by architect Harry Seidler, the son of Rose Seidler, and was built in 1950. "Harry Seidler was one of a number of architects exploring a new kind of architecture that looked to the future rather than to the traditions of the past. Seidler shared with them a concern for simplicity and function, for undecorated materials, and for new kinds of relationships between built forms and the landscape and in the arrangement of internal spaces." (1)
When the house was finished, the public was divided, and yet as Harry Seidler puts it, "people would come in [...]. My mother had to leave the house sometimes on the weekend, because they were all standing around the windows you know, trying to see this incredible contraption." (2)
So what do you get?
Mulberry St. 31 is a 30x20 residential lot best placed in San Sequoia on the “Parkside Place” lot in the Gilbert Gardens neighbourhood. It might also look good somewhere else, though.
The lot consists of 2 separate houses:
Rose Seidler House (left house): This house is a classic midcentury modern house with an open floor plan. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a garden area. The house is ideal for 1-3 sims.
Mulberry St. 31 (right house): This house houses a business/café (whatever you'll choose) on the 1st floor. There is a separate entry for the two apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The apartments are ideal for 1-2 sims.

Crystal Cottages - a cc-free shell by moonwoodhollow
Surprise! Well.... who would've thought I'd finish yet another shell in such a short time. Blame (or thank) my cold. Enjoy these two simple, yet sophisticated modern builds that almost have the same floor plan, but not quite.

Spice Market №1—a San Myshuno Shell by Moonwoodhollow.
San My is one of my favourite worlds and yet I've never shared any build I've built there before. With the new pack coming, I thought it was finally time to change this. I created this build with the new lot type of a combined residential/business in mind and created 4 apartment shells and 6 business/shop shells. I hope this lot inspires you to create the San Myshuno of your dreams!
