It…really isn’t. But it makes sense that it would be as limited as it is when it’s inside a prison.

I-I suppose I’ll end up figuring it out though, I mean, maybe? Goodness, you can’t be a neophyte in something forever, can you? I-I think, I think it might be down to emotion though. That’s when they ever really appear anyway. Perhaps if I learn to control my emotions better I could learn to have a better grasp on it? I hope.

Yes, if they respond to emotion, then better controlling your emotions may well be the key to controlling these powers as well.

In my timeline, most mages draw on the power of patron spirits, rather than material sources of magical power.

Or at least, as far as I know they do.

That…does make an awful lot of sense. Perhaps the transporters teleport other things too? I-I’m not too sure…It’s not as if I’ve actually been in jail or anything. I suppose I could always check if you need me to though…….I mean, i-it would be more than a little disconcerting for you to be stuck her after offering to help me to say the least! Oh goodness!

Well, I think a teleportation technology that can only teleport pumpkins is not the most useful of technologies.

I doubt such a thing would have been put into production.

But, in any case, it is worth making sure.

A….a transportalizer? I don’t think I’m quite sure what that means..but I-I think that the jails here used to have something to do with transporting pumpkins though.

Well, at least, there will need to be a device that can teleport things to coordinates that are input into it so that I can return home after meeting up with you. .

I-I’m not sure if I know a lot about it either if I had to be level with you…..But oh goodness, I guess that would be helpful! But..I’m….not really good at using it though.. I mean, i-it usually only really gets used when I’m having some sort of screwy nervous breakdown. Which is..pretty often now that I think about it.

Well, then, I suppose we ought to meet up in person at some point.

A magician? Oh dear me, that position means that you’re quite an egg, doesn’t it!

But um, I-I really hope that’s it’s not rude of me to ask you this but… We were in a game…a-and it kind of got hacked…and it left a bunch of us with a bunch of screwy powers that I’m not so sure how to use properly! Since you’re a magician do you think you’d be able to help me? Somehow? Because it’s a little disconcerting to have to say the least.

I’m not really anyone important.

After all, I’m very new to the magicianing business.

Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about the Game and its workings, so I can’t say whether I’d be able to help you.

However, the form of magic that I use may actually be tied to it somehow, so perhaps if I were to examine you and your powers it would help both of us to understand our abilities better.
