Facts about my merman Olympic because why not

He’s a trans man fully supported by his parents

He’s never been banned from going to the surface as his parents would often take him to learn about human culture from around the world (only viewing from afar)

While he is around 600 years old, his species matures slower than humans so in human years he’s 30 (20 years= 1 human year)

He lost one of his arms in a shark attack as a young adult

He stopped befriending humans after realising he has to watch them die as he lives on

He still doesn’t understand much about humans often complaining that “they keep changing things”

His skin is a pale grey as he spends most of his time deep in the water, therefore he doesn’t have a set race

He doesn’t like being touched or people getting too close
