It's really stupid, but I couldn't get it out of my head for 2 weeks.

Check out this weird Russian meme. It’s a pun on the word 'Smog'.

In Russian, 'Smog' means the same as in English (pollution), but it’s also the past tense of the verb 'to be able to' ('managed to').

So the meme goes: 'Smog, what did you smog?'

It sounds as stupid as looking at a tin can and asking: 'Can, what can you can?' or looking at a fan and saying: 'Fan, how fan are you?'

The joke is basically treating the air pollution like a person who just achieved something, and then aggressively asking what exactly it 'managed to do'.

Ofc each one is different (like real-life people and animals), but this gets the main point across^^ I also like to include the really tiny tentacles like they had in the movie, even though they weren’t in the book as I, frankly, think it looks cool!!
