Rules over: love, beauty, sex, fertility, desire, all passions, pleasure, grace, connection to the earth.

As a goddess she is the personification of temptation and all types of love and the pain that comes with them.

Symbols: conch/oyster shells, mirror, girdles/corsets, erotic figurines, erotic writing/art, the planet of Venus, heart shaped things, poetry.

Descriptions (duality): Aphrodite Urania- born of Uranus with no mother so represents intellectual/non-physical love, Aphrodite Pandemos- daughter of Zeus/Dione(patron of prostitutes) represents common/vulgar love.

— this Noumenia i mainly want to honor the gorgeous, shining Selene. i often think of Her and look up at Her with awe and adoration. She inspires me and renders me speechless with the beauty She holds. may She bring us a productive new month, new beginnings and strenght.

even though its the late stage of september for me, im already thinking of october. i look forward to the new month with clear mind and heart. i can keep going, i will keep going.
