COME SEE OUR SISTER SHOW, COMING: A ROCK MUSICAL OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS AT THE NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL! Coming: A Rock Musical of Biblical Proportions is an irreverent, darkly comedic musical interpretation of the Biblical Book of Revelation. This critically acclaimed glamtastic spectacular was described by Liz Black of the Huffington Post as "A mash-up of Velvet Goldmine, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Labyrinth, The God Delusion and The Holy Bible." The story follows the rise of Josh Crenshaw, a wholesome, heartland teen who also happens to be the Second Coming of Christ. He seeks to spread a message of love and hope to an increasingly callous world, and decides the best way to reach his base audience is by competing on a televised singing contest called "American Icon". Meanwhile, Damian Salt, an infamous gender-bending glam pop Antichrist Superstar spreads his own gay, boozy gospel. When God strikes a personal blow against Damian, the self-proclaimed Son of Sodom declares war on The Lord by resolving to corrupt his only begotten son. With a clever, theologically-flecked book and a diverse, riveting score that ranges from rock to requiem mass, "Coming" proved to be a huge, sold-out crowd-pleaser in Philadelphia. And soon, Josh and Damian will deliver the Glamageddon unto the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival!
