Screaming
Dead Reckoning Pt. 1 spoilers below the break. Seriously do not open until after you’ve seen it.
WELP.
Part of me feels this is the first half of a classic Mission Impossible fake out. Christopher McQuarrie’s biggest addition to the franchise (and I’m nearly certain he’s said as much himself) is Ilsa Faust and her death felt VERY half-assed IF that ends up being the actual end of her story. Which makes me feel like she’s going to pop up at a crucial moment of Pt. 2.
Part of me feels that’s complete copium and Rebecca Ferguson wanted to tap out before she found herself doing these movies and ONLY these movies.
We’ll see soon enough!
It’s still a great entry into the series!
Upon my second rewatch, I’m worried it’s going to be the latter, dudes.
It's been a while! Wrote this for Kronii's HoloFanFic stream. Fun little exercise!

You don’t get to see two collaborators really get each other like these two get each other very often. We should cherish it.
