Dear groovystarched,
Me too. I think emotions can run high when you have a strong opinion about something or feel passionate about something, but even then I think knowing when to step back and take a minute before approaching the conversation again is probably also healthy. I'm not someone who wants to "win" an argument. I know there are people out there that do. I want to work things out with my partner and see that we can end up on the same page again.
It does seem like it so far! I find our conversation very encouraging. And I would be very glad to be friends with you no matter what else happens. You're a very groovy person. ;) And it isn't usually the first thing people compliment me with, but I will gladly take it. You're very sweet. Thank you.
I know what you mean. I keep thinking I should come up with another deep or meaningful question to get to know you further, but I am also just enjoying our correspondence so much regardless. My day has been very good. Getting to read your emails have been a lovely part of my day too. And I've been putting together a really fun look (I think at least) for the ball. I was thinking I'd try to align the colors with my blog concept and I think it'll turn out really nice.
But you'll have to tell me what you think if we meet in person. What about you? How have you been doing? What's been occupying your thoughts? Did you sleep well?
To another bright day ahead, sassyradish

Dear sassyradish,
I'm glad you had a good day.
That is very clever! I like that sound of that a lot, I hope it comes together in the end but it seems like you've got it figured out.
I've been doing pretty well. Work has been keeping me busy recently, but I was anticipating that so we were prepared for the sudden business. I've got a few projects I'm working on, one I've just finished in the nick of time (even if it did cost me some blood sweat and tears haha), but that had pretty much been it. But I'm thankful for that. I slept okay. I wouldn't put it down as good but I haven't had a good night's sleep in a while. I'm getting back to it, though.
As for that's been occupying my thoughts, I will have to admit these emails have been popping in there a lot. Along with Valentine's Day as a whole, I've been popping the heart conversation heart candies all the time. Our jar is almost empty.
This will probably be my last email before the mixer. I hope to see you and your outfit there. It's been great emailing you, thank you for replying and being as smart and sincere as you are.
Yours, groovystarched
