Ok this is not meant to be a doomer take but I think you lowkey need to lean into masochism to get the most out of life. Life is oftentimes really exruciatingly painful, boring, a slog, dismal, and a dead end. And if you can learn to enjoy the sensation of pain it might make it easier to weather the storm. I feel like this is a spiritual truth, and why kink is so popular. It's all about coping with the unavoidable pain of being a real life breathing human animal, crawling under the hot sun until you die. I think it's really beautiful, but I'm a freak lol

I actually kind of fuck with the idea of rejecting individuality in general. Like no I don't want to buy a bunch of shit to prove my "personal brand". I'm not "alternative" i just listen to metal because I like it. And I don't need anyone to know anything about me at school or at work. If I wanted to socialize I'd go to a third space, like a community center or something. I'm just so over it I think I'm reaching some kind of ego death. I don't want to think about anything identity related ever again unless it's political (mandatory)

Tomorrow I might get a little crazy and wear my tan slacks with my university hoodie 🫡
