Ventilation got a third upgrade using PWC drain tubes. The wonders a couple 90 degree elbow joints can do.

Building a Deep Water Culture setup to get rid of soil and have less waste water. In DWC setups the roots are submerged in the aerated nutrient solution, in this case inside a 90 liter tub with four 8 cm net-pots.
Technically the top-fed drip lines and water pump makes this a bubbleponics setup, but the external nutrient source will only be used to slowly fill the tub and help young roots grow.
Next step: Adding an air pump and some air stones into the tub
Started working on improving the ventilation. The in-line fan is packed in a box filled with old towels for noise dampening. Everything is mounted to the top with zip ties and wood-screw hooks.
Still missing the exhaust ducting.
