Ironic misogyny is something a lot of “left-leaning” streamers Tommy’s size (and smaller) do. They think that because they are left-leaning, have a large female audience, or, in some capacity, acknowledge the sexism and objectification that women go through every single day, they’re allowed to make jokes about it. To them, they’re simply mocking the incels/men/misogynists that truly think this way—they’re not really serious. It’s just a joke, a bit. But they fail to realize that these “jokes” don’t exist in a vacuum, and ironic misogyny is still misogyny at the end of the day. The joke depends on misogynistic beliefs existing, and the only loser in this scenario is the woman (or women) you’re putting down to “own the incels”. No misogynistic man is going to be upset by a fake-ass leftist telling his chat that his semi-long-term girlfriend is “just a fling” or that he’s going to break up with her soon.

I’m not sure if you know the speedrunner Infume, but his entire shtick right now is joking about being awkward/weird/unable to speak to women. His chat makes the jokes, he makes the jokes, his friends—you get the point. He’s a grown man, in college, with a large female audience, and somehow the pinnacle of humor for him (and his community) is “speaking to women is so difficult :(.” It’s annoying; it’s not funny. “Putting down my girlfriend” or “treating women as some mythical creature for content, but don’t worry guys, I don’t genuinely believe these things” means virtually nothing when you barely stand up for women as is.

These men think that because they’re not Andrew Tate, Donald Trump, Adin Ross, etc., they’re in the clear. Trust when the patriarchy finally crumbles, we’re pushing your ass beneath the rubble alongside the rest of them.

I didn't actually think it was even that bad like he didn't go on for too long and the whole chat was telling him to look at the username so he couldn't even ignore it completely and let a mod show up and take care of it.

speaking of mods, it's so annoying that they're so against new mods being added. i get that training them is a whole thing and it takes time and effort to make sure they understand how the rules should be enforced (although some current mods are iffy on that anyway imo) but the amount of time that there are no mods in chat lately is getting ridiculous. even tubbo has noticed but it's kind of borderline so he keeps asking about it but not pushing.

Tubbo jokes about them not wanting to let anyone in their little private club but at this point it's starting to feel that way for real. I swear they used to beg for more mods when there were few before but now they're against it? Maybe they still feel like they manage and it's not worth the hassle like u said? And it's been fine but it's definitely reaching a point and u would think they'd want to prepare for that point before it happens but apparently not.

I've always hated when he asks the mods to do the simplest things he can do himself like starting a poll when he's just sitting there not even playing a game so it's been nice seeing him be more independent and do more of his job at least

she was only a mystery because she didn't join the discord in time and he put her in because they met at a twitchcon party. he should really vet participants before saying yes in the future but he almost certainly didn't know.

I think I heard he did ask molly but she couldn't make it just like beky. I also heard lexie wanted to play but wasn't asked but much less sure if that's something she said or just assumptions made about her being willing to participate.

I think most people were aware the mystery player was only a mystery because they weren't properly confirmed in time it's just it being sylvee and everything about and surrounding her that was such a shock. I've only seen one person complain about the mystery player not being anything special like with his mcc pride situation last year and not understand it was never meant to me anything special.

not totally related but he lucked out banning another chatter recently who has turned out to be very annoying and also a wilbur/lovejoy supporter. i thought he was too harsh but it worked out.

I finally had time to go back and get the wilbur mention clip from the other day and It literally was just default acoustic guitar music that comment came out of absolutely nowhere. Quite funny timing with one of his closest friends being caught hanging around wilbur associates just the night before.

Sure and that account asking through tweets of how to get into tubble didn't coincidentally type tubble on tweet and found this account on accident. Just like tweeting aimsey and asking if that is aimsey's account.

True. Puffy was truly crying on stream after that announcement but she clarified that she doesn't want to make things public. One of my guesses was that he might have broken up because he wanted to socially climb the content creator route. He might have even saw puffy as a means to socially climb during those years when mc and dsmp were actually thriving.

Well the fall out was not personal per say between both. The thing was Hannah didn't stuck with dteam after everything but sylvee did considering she was dating one of them. But in the past year, she has distanced herself from dteam by being with spanish streamers. Even then in the past few months, it's the female spanish streamers instead she has been close with out of the one the previous anon was talking about.

Well ellum's case is a weird one since we don't actually know what he did. Some doozers had demanded when lexie, kenji and others from uk space were shade tweeting when he moved in with pokimane . Because they obviously didn't want to support someone who might have done genuinely bad things. In those days I was watching lexie, she clarified that if it was relationship cheating, we wouldn't have cared to even shade tweet. I think ellum betrayed his friends. Like social climbing stuff might be the answer here. Because lexie would have said what he did without directly naming him or even while naming him because she directly names w soot as well and says how he used to behave apart from what we already know and doesn't save her vods .

Maybe he thought to ask because he might have reconnected with sylvee there. That is the recent interaction because the football audience wasn't that divided as far as I could see on stream.Also coy Hannah sylvee and tubbo hung out many twitch cons before.

He honestly might not know about the recent things in the dttwt regarding sylvee. There are times when he is active on twitter and there are times he is not like i am pretty sure he didn't actually know what jack was shade tweeting and then was later explained about it.
