I am having so many holy visions every single night it's too much actually!!!!!!!
how to reset while/after a calamity
water. try to have a bottle/glass near you always and maintain hydration
if you don't have the energy to make/eat more elaborate meals, buy yourself stuff that can be easily done (e.g. instant noodles/food...). eating something that may be more unhealthy is more important than leaving out meals. stack yourself up
try to wash at least sensitive parts with water or a wet towel if you don't got the energy for a full shower
hypochlorous acid spray instead ofx
depending on your hair type, try to do something braided or something else you can wear for a while and keeps the hair somewhat under control
bonnets are VERY NICE no matter the hair type. wearing one also feels very put together
🦋reset your skincare vault and looks for spring
always be aware of personal compatability and research for mixing up products. stay safe💕
aloe vera gel for everything. as a moisturizer base, after sun, for the body, hair, everywhere. make sure to search for high quality products (bigger bottles may be pricier but are worth it)
switch to natural body care products with essential oils instead of perfume. insects will also come less if you don't put on extra scents
same reason to leave your other bodysprays and perfumes behind. give your hormones a break
watch out for these things in your morning skincare if you leave out sunscreen (more on that later): retinol, vitamin a, benzoyl peroxide, acids and stronger oils
same for haircare ingredients
vitamin c + sunscreen is your best friend. vit c can protect and boost your skin a bit more in the sun (but it isn't a substitute for uv protection!)
also include vit c in your diet: citrus fruits, bell peppers, kiwis...
short colorful or neutral nails
permanent makeup instead of stuff that keeps you from enjoying the sun: lash/brow lift
high-quality spf that suits!!! your!!!! skin!!!! if sunscreen feels bad on your face you are using wrong one
less is more. try aiming for a skincare routine with less than 5 products
simple and useful but flattering hairstyles for every day
try to get as much spring sun as possible (with appropriate uv protection)
walk walk walk. cardio is your best friend
weird small tips to improve your handwriting (visually)
it's not necessarily about the size of your letters. it's about their proportions to one another
try spacing out letters if it looks messy. if you don't write cursive, try to not let the letters touch each other
try different ways to hold the pen and to look at the paper. e.g. my writing feels more neat when I look at the pen's shadow instead of the ink
having consistent letters. sounds mundane but especially letters like y, g and q tend to be drawn a little bit differnt each time
if you really don't know where to start, look at existing fonts on the internet
being able to write letters the same height. if not, practice
super important: that pen that works for you. from my experience, it's a niche store chain brand ballpoint pen for 0.8 dollar that fits just perfectly, but you need to find it !
never let your dream of 'forever and ever' become your biggest nightmare
how to feel a little bit more put together and locked in immediately
they can be done more or less in this order or separately (if it's something that works for you<3)
brush your hair and redo your current style if necessary
splash your face with water and rinse your mouth
floss + brush your teeth with a gentle toothpaste
lip oil or balm
if you don't have time/energy for a full routine: wash your most prone body parts (e.g. underarms), can be individual
drink 1-2 glasses of water instantly
eat something fresh or fruity and be fully present
clean every counter, make your bed and vacuum your space
prepare clothes for tonight and all for the next day
pack your bag and prepare all your need in the morning (clothes, styling stuff, meds, food, ...)
at least 5-10 of fresh air and/or direct sunlight or (even better) a short wak
make yourself your favorite healthy drink or at least the healthiest somewhat fancy drink you can put together
and what helped me the most so far
(the hardest sadly😫)
do one task that will take you under 5-30 minutes for your self maintenance that you have postponed for a while.
it can be a phone call, appointment, email, some respond texts, finally cutting/doing your nails, cleaning that freaking fridge, ...
do one task that will take you under 5-30 minutes for yourself that you have postponed for a while or finally want to start.
like starting/finishing that book, that first workout that could start your new routine, starting something creative, literally anything for your self fulfillment or any hobby that you haven't done in a while or want to start doing
if you're someone who likes to procrastinate (like me), these two things especially can be very hard but knowing this and the feeling after finishing it regardless — even if it's just one time — is definetly worth it and you'll feel better instantly
find an outlet for your mind
writing diary
journaling: junk, reflective, personal, gratitude, one sentence/word a day, bullet, for dreams, letters for yourself or someone. the options are endless
any sport or high intensity movement
drawing, sketching: simple paintings, a comic, OCs, anything you love
poetry or song writing. NOBODY CARES JUST LET IT OUT DON'T YOU BE AFRAID TO BE CRINGE
crocheting, sewing, knitting, you call it even if it's nothing in your eyes, do it
meditation. do guided ones or breathwork if others isn't working for you
dance dance dance
cook or bake
try a bunch of new and crazy ways to style your hair
write a story. idc if it's a novel, a short story, a fanfiction, a self insert or how bad it is. write a science book with complete nonsense. do it
pottery, clay
miniature building
How to Start Today
clean your whole space throughly
make yourself a big modified water bottle for the next hours
prepare your clothes for the rest of the day and also the full next day
also all your needed bags
go for a walk. dosen't matter if you listen to something, have someone with you or if you're doing something for your mindfulness
write down the 5 most important things you need to get done this week
also the top 3 tasks for today
and: what are 3 things you want to start doing by the end of the week
clean every other space and start dishwasher and washing machine
1 regulating ritual you know works for you: can be breathwork, yoga, meditation, prayer, coffee, even smoking
get it started. no music, no calls, just get it done
my 2026 calender book came in let's goooo😤😤
Instead of a bucket list for the upcoming year, try making a lighthearted bingo chart, maybe even with some friends or your spouse.
way more interactive and — depending on how you do it — maybe a bit more silly and healthier for your year.
me and my spouse did two for each of us, one with positive stuff we hope for in 2026 and a 'negative' one with things we'll definetly fail like 'postponing the ___ exam' but if you dont want to bring that energy into your new year, I definitely get it lmao
alternatives to phone time in-between studying
take your pet or partner for a walk
update your to do list / tracker / calender
make a rewarding drink
make a drink for the next session
same with snacks
organize your study space
prepare very low effort tasks for later
grounding ritual: can be breathwork, yoga, meditation, praying, something creative,...
a short high intensity activity
How to get the best out of your water intake
quality spring water within your price range
mix it up with: ginger, coconut or aloe vera water
supplement (like chlorophyll, certain drops you need/want)
a little bit of salt
fresh infused lemon or peppermint (can be used several times depending on how fast you refill)
copper bottle (tastes weird tho)
chia or flax seeds (be careful for your digestion)
try aiming for one glass an hour depending on what you're doing
watch the colour of your pee. seriously
Reasons to stop wearing make-up forever
obviously not saying that you must but a few reasons why you could
way better for you health wise, idgaf what that moisturizing spf concealer ad says
wayyy less money spend. wayyyyy
and don't get me started on the saved time. no more waking up early for that, no more removing in the evening, no more walks to the store bc something runs out every other month
young kids and especially girls don't get normalized to non-natural and polished faces. let's normalize skin texture, colours, birthmarks, under eye bags and blemishes
you won't feel weird without it because you will get used to see yourself without it. looking at yourself with heavy makeup may also start to become strange
not supporting an industry that benefits from social standards and insecurities
you never have to worry about smearing, clumping, sweating, natural lighting, scratching and eating
I love intuition. I love doing what feels right to me at the current and listening to my body. I love being clean but messy in some way. I love
pulling this out of my drafts like yes girl you really listened to your intuition by not finishing this😍🙏
I love intuition. I love doing what feels right to me at the current and listening to my body. I love being clean but messy in some way. I love
small things to help you stay organized in life pt. 1
A calendar
can be digital, for the wall or as a book (there are nice ones to buy but if you like it personalized like me, you can also DIY, although it can be quite time consuming)
write down anything: work/college time, deadlines, to-do's, birthdays of every freaking person you know and especially!!!:
managing all your doctor's appointments and health checkups! write down in advance what you need to schedule and put in reminders, too. make appointments early enough and highlight them. take care of your health!!
also great to track your habits and what you could to next. when was the last time you saw _____? when you went to your favorite spot? more down below
To-Do lists / Habit tracking
can be for everyday, week, month or year (e.g. bucket lists, goals)
great for implementing new stuff and motivation
may be in form of table, combined with the calender, a whiteboard, whatever works for you
awesome to have a view about your actual habits and what you need to look into more often (e.g. if you haven't seen a friend in a long time)
I like to go by a weekly tracker, where I need to spend time at least for: 3× sport/movement, full-body self maintenance, diary/journaling, creative output in any way, something social/nurturing, complete house cleanup. again, you can modify as much personalized habits as possible
less is more. don't put top much at once, especially in the beginning. sounds simple but isn't. you won't be able to complete all of them and you'll feel unmotivated.
sitting down at the end of the week and updating my upcoming one with to-do's, appointments and habits very neatly become a very mindful routine of mine. maybe it could also work for you
but don't get too lost in the process. writing down your tasks may feel productive but you're not finishing anything in the end. keep it simple and get it started
Interactive walls
depending on your financial and aestheticial opportunities: whiteboards, chalk and/or magnetic boards or even fish nets with clothepins everywhere
hang up your stuff that gets out of your vision elsewhere
write down anything: thoughts, study/self care/food plans, reminders...
also great if you are a person (like me) who likes to stack letters, documents etc. no more piles out of your eyesight. you will see it and you will be annoyed of it and will finally sort it, I promise
can be very wholesome too if you hang up cards, photos or writings or if a visiting person decides to leave you a note on your study board:)
Dumping bowl for bag essentials
instead of a dumping place for your bag essentials (like purse, hygiene box...) put it all in a small bowl and pour it into your next bag when leaving for outside
less time and more visually pleasing
especially if you're the type of person who changes their daily bag regularly
I again accidentally posted it too early but instead of deleting it again I will just make it a series😤✊️
