So last month I made a birthday game for @shuuzaar called Sprout Collection!
It involves growing sylvari sprouts, so I had the pleasure of drawing a small portrait of each of their planty ocs (at least the ones they had at the time)!
I wanted a place to have them all, so here are the last nine, in the order I drew them.
Sadly, clicking âokâ in a photoshop window made me lose all last three sprouts, so I had to crop them out of a screenshot I had taken, which explains the lesser quality and rough edges...

Phabet struggled most of their youth to accept their status as a Necromancer.
They saw death manipulation as something inherently wrong, and thought of it as a curse.
They are heavily specialized in invocations, and despite being fairly good in summoning both flesh and soul, can only invoke those of beings that have been forgotten from the living world. If somewhere, a memory of a being still lives on, Phabet wonât have the ability to invoke it. Even though it is uncertain, this particularity is probably due to the awkward relationship they had with their powers for a long time, making them eventually evolve in such a specific way.
One of their earlier complete invocations was a centaur by the name of So:òph, a sage druid from an ancient, extinct tribe living in autarky.
During the short time of his momentary resurrection, the centaur quickly took the role of a mentor for Phabet. He helped them not only to understand their power, but also to accept them as part of themself. He taught Phabet that Death wasnât âwrongâ, just as light and darkness werenât âgoodâ or âbadâ. Deeply, it helped Phabet understand that, no matter the abilities that were given to them, they were the only one to decide how they would use them.
Still today, So:òph holds a dear and profound place in their heart, even though they know that, by remembering him, they prevent themself to ever have the chance to see him again.
Phabet is a pretty shy person, but it is often mistaken for a high self-esteem as well as standards. This is mostly due to the fact that they took some of So:òphâs noble and archaic manners over the time, showing how high they regard him (which can lead to quite awkward social interactions).
They dress up in white and gold, their favorite colors, and use violet tints and royal blue from time to time. This increases the âhigh standardsâ impression they will often leave on others?
Phabet spends more time talking with their invocations than with living beings. They are quite socially awkward but extremely cultivated, and could certainly spend hours talking to you about death, life, balance and necromancy, things they grew up very passionate about after So:òphâs teachings.

Really enjoying HoT so far; itâs like rediscovering the game again!!
//More about them under the cut
Bjett: Originally their name was âBjetâ, but it was already taken so I added another âtâ. Iâm trying to get use to it!
Personality: Bjett is a very wild and reckless type of person. They kind of live on a day to day basis, but one thingâs for sure, nothing can stop them.
One thing that strucks when talking or spending time with Bjett is how they can switch from being loud, unpredictable and kind of an ass to suddenly being very kind and peaceful. They will only be the latter when in intimacy / one to one conversations. However it can be stressful for their relatives, as they canât really know âwhich Bjettâ theyâre gonna get.
Body: Bjett is pretty tall for an Asura. They take great care of their body and exercise a lot to keep it muscular and in shape. People are usually pretty impressed when they see such an imposing Asura come in, especially since mocking up Asuras is usual in taverns and whatnots. That is actually one of the reasons they take so much care.
Jewel: The jewel on their forehead is a treasure they once found in a chest. They are fascinated by gems / jewels and shiny things (even though they donât really wear that much jewelry), and this was their biggest / prettiest stone yet. They thus decided to celebrate it in their favourite tavern and got really smashed.... things got heated up, and they yelled that whoever wanted the gem would have to open their head first. It is unknown how they managed to implant the gem on their head by themselves âwhile drunk at thatâ, but the tale is that they were yelling âIâM A GENIUSâ while doing it. When they woke up from the hangover, their first reaction was: â..........................niceâ.
The people in that tavern call them âJewelâ ever since then.
Nose Scars: They lost part of their nose fighting a charr in a tavern brawl they started by insulting them. It did not end well for anyone (this was before they made there implant).
Clothes: They very rarely wear casual clothes. When theyâre not wearing their armor, they are usually simply wearing their under-armor, a tight suit made to stretch their muscles and capture sweat, that basically looks like a big bandage wrapped up around their body.
Supplementary Detail (Important!): They cannot do the middle finger. It will always bend with one of the other 2. They end up doing the UK one instead (two fingers), but of course no one gets it. It pisses them of a lot, but at the same time they like having a secret âgo fuck yourselfâ sign.
