If you are looking to bond with your child over a really fun hobby, but don’t have the money to spend, take them rock collecting. Look up minerals in your area as well as public lands and hunt from them. There might also be awesome minerals on your family’s properties, too (and they get to visit their relatives). Children are natural collectors and you will discover very quickly that your kid is probably better at it than you are.
Collecting rocks nurtures curiosity in children, teaches them observation skills (as well as problem solving skills), helps them develop a healthy relationship with the earth, helps to develop a positive self image (they found some pretty awesome rocks all by themselves!!), gets them outside, and is a physical and healthy activity.
They might even find some small fossils!!!
You can also have fun washing your rocks together with scrub brushes to make them shiny and clean. Hell, some stones that either of you find (and are willing to part with) might even be worth a decent sum of money. You can learn how to tumble, polish, and make jewelry or art from them, or use them to landscape and make other neat little things.
If you don’t live by a rocky area, collecting shells and seaglass is also pretty fun for them.
Edit: This is especially great for little girls, as it allows them to feel comfortable with being dirty and sweaty, and if they are at the age (sadly usually 8+) where they are beginning to struggle with beauty standards/their appearances, having a hobby that alleviates them from these social norms and challenges these cultural roles is so important.
This is such a good idea!

If men are useless to the procreation process like you say they are, then how do you think women get pregnant?
I didn’t say men are useless. I think they should get credit only for what they actually contribute, no less, and no more.
Women should also get the due credit for our contribution, credit for the immense sacrifice that pregnancy truly is, a sacrifice which deserves respect.
It isn’t fair to pretend a horse weighs the same as a feather.
“They can’t create children so they made religion to give themselves credit for creating life” according to you we don’t do shit
They “contribute” half to the creation of children. Without the mans half there is not child. Without the woman’s half there is no child. They contribute half each. Don’t confuse gestation for creation.
Gestation is creation, that’s the process of creation. The entire creation act happens inside of the woman.
Fetching the paint for Da Vinci doesn’t get you credit for painting half the Mona Lisa, it gets you credit for fetching the paint.
Supporting actors don’t win best lead actor.
It’s straight up unfair to act like the life experience of ejaculation is equal to the life experience of pregnancy. It’s disrespectful to women to suggest these things deserve equal credit.
“Fetching the paint for Da Vinci” blah blah blah
Da Vinci can get up and get his own paint. Come back to me when you can create children without a male counter part and I’ll agree with you.
Come back when men can create life without women sacrificing our own bodies.
Gestation is the development of the actual child - without gestation what the fuck do you have? A clump of undifferentiated cells. I’m sorry but I don’t see very many undifferentiated human stem cell clumps meandering around. The female role in creating a viable, healthy human life VASTLY outweighs that of a male (even just in energy expenditure alone), and anyone who denies this doesn’t understand how human reproduction works or is being willfully ignorant on fucking purpose.
Or they hate women and think women’s pain and sacrifice doesn’t matter because they don’t view women as human beings who deserve respect.
Obviously. That’s why they would be willfully ignorant of reality - because they’re misogynists lmao you can’t be misogynistic and logical at the same time so you have to will yourself into ignorance to support your hatred.
not to mention that with womens bone marrow, men are literally unneccessary in the procreation process so
When they say that men and women have the same propensity for violence...

Wisconsin Rep. Melissa Sargent wants to make “stealthing,” secretly removing a condom, a crime
It is currently not a crime to secretly remove a condom during sex without consent, but one Wisconsin lawmaker hopes to change that.
Rep. Melissa Sargent has introduced a bill that would classifying “stealthing” as sexual assault. "This is clearly a sexual crime,“ Sargent told the Capital Times. “There are victims and predators.”
Sargent introduced her bill, LRB 3346, on May 4. Co-sponsors can sign on until May 19. In the bill, Sargent outlines the definition of stealthing: the removal of “a sexually protective device without the partner’s knowledge or permission” after both parties consent to sex on the condition that a condom, diaphragm or other contraceptive is used.
