For the last nine months Jo Nothing and I have been working on our very own Adult Comics Storefront.
Why did we do this? Solutions for Adult comics creators to sell their work online have been quickly dwindling. We had a big wake up call when Gumroad kicked off all their adult creators last summer. We realized that while itch io remains a good option, there's no telling if or when they will follow suit. We needed a new solution, and decided to sit down and make it happen.
We couldn't have made it this far without help from @notzackforwork , @blackshirtboy , and of course our incredible web designer Cass.
Now it's time for Launch, Please come check out the site and create an account even if you're not looking to make a purchase right now. This will help us test the site under a high-traffic situation. You'll need an account if you want to make a purchase, but you'll be able to access over 30 free comics in the online reader without one.
Please be patient with us! We're not sure how the site will preform under high traffic, and you may experience longer load-times or crashes.
What will you find here?
Welcome Change features four creators, Myself, @blackshirtboy , @notzackforwork and @JoNothingArt . You'll find a wide selection of paycomics from these creators dating back to around 2013, as well as over 30 free comics which you'll be able to read on the site!
At long last, the ALBM Collectors editions are once again available. You'll also be able to snap up the third issue of Shape Boy: Reformed.
Fans of Jo Nothing, Bsb and Notzackforwork?
all these creators have new releases and some have discounted several of their comics. Check them out on their own creator pages.
You'll be able to add comics to your cart (even from multiple creators at once!) and make purchases. Purchased comics can be downloaded as PDFs, Image files, or read on our online reader. Your purchases will be linked to your account through your library.
Obviously this is Launch. You may encounter bugs or other issues.(including performance issues if traffic gets too high) If you do experience an issue (and the site is working) you'll be able to access a bug report form on the top of your user profile.
If (god forbid) there is any issue delivering a purchased comic or comics, please let us know via the same form, including your account name, and what you purchased. We're already tested this system extensively and are not anticipating any issues here, but rest assured, we will make good on any purchases that fail after payment.
Payment Processing:
We use CCbill to process payments. When you make a purchase you'll be directed to the CCbill order form where you can enter your payment information. When you make a purchase you'll get a confirmation email from CCbill. This mean your payment went through. If for some reason after this stage your comics are not delivered to your account, please contact us.
Can I register as a creator?
The creator program is currently invite-only. If you're serious about joining the ranks of the creators on Welcome Change you can contact us via email at [email protected]
while our four current creators are primarily TGTF artists, any adult comics creators will be considered!
