I’d argue that all of the major problems of 2020 are because people in power, like those in the fossil fuel industry, have deliberately ignored the well-being of others in favor of their own capitalist gain.

Hey please don’t forget that the fossil fuel industry didn’t do this to become rich, they did this to become richER.  Oil barons already owned 4 different houses in the 1980s.

They literally did this for the 5th yacht.
