Piers lightly growled, tilting his head to see Chris. His cheeks were a bright red, “what the hell?”.

“Hm” he waved and smiled. “What’s up Piers?”

“I-I was reading a book, you?” He felt his face burn red, looking Chris up and down.

“Nothin’ much…” He pouted, leaned closer. “Is it a good book?”

He felt hit heart almost sink when the male moved closer, his back leaned back on the pillows of the couch. “O-oh man is it getting hot in here?” He changed the subject and stripped off his jacket.

Chris blinked. “No…” He watched the Ace strip of his coat with amusement. “C'mon, what’re you reading?”

“It’s not that good” he quickly hid the novel behind him, laying back on it. “It was getting pretty boring” he gave a small smile.

He giggled, now trying to take the book from behind Piers’ body. “You’re acting very suspicious! Is it a smut novel? I won’t tell anyone!”

“It’s nothing” he whimpered and tried to hide the book, his feed slipping on the carpet since he had socks on. “Crap!” He would try to balance himself once more though kicked Chris off his balance by trying to. He caused the larger male to fall on him. “Sorry sorry sorry!” His cheeks became much more red.

Chris just stared at Piers, a big smile spreading across his face. “OH!” He took the opportunity to snatch the novel from Piers as he lay heavily on his body.

He kept his eyes locked on his, almost hypnotized, he jumped when he felt the Niven being pulled out his hands. “Chris!” He whimpered when his book was taken from him, he felt super embarrassed.

Chris opened it with high expectations. “Well well…” He purred, flipping through the pages.

He put his hands to his face feeling extremely embarrassed, “Oh God” he whispered feeling ashamed already.

Chris’s smirk vanished quickly. “Oh…” He got off the sniper and sat up, face still buried in the book. “God, Piers.”

Piers grabbed a pillow and shoved his face in it, he felt like his face way on fire. He put his knees up to his chest and hugged them.

Chris glanced over to the side as he snapped the book shut. “Aw, don’t do that Piersy…” He put a large hand on his back and leaned down to nuzzle his ear and whisper something- “I like it.”

Piers put his hands on Chris’ chest, he let out a small squeak when he felt Chris come close to his ear. “It’s uh.. Not that good” he lied, not wanting Chris to know how many times he’s re read the book.

“I always finish what I started reading” he lied once more and watched as Chris’s hand ran through his hair

Chris smiled stupidly as he continued to pet the spiky brown fringe. “I like your commitment. Perhaps you’ll read it to me sometime?” He giggled cruelly.
