BIOGRAPHY;
Having grew up in Montreal, Remington didn't really know much about America and which states were close to the beaches. He only heard rumors about what it's like and how the people are. So when he was twenty-eight and moved to Vegas instead of Los Angeles, he was hella confused.
He only moved to Vegas after a distant uncle passed away and left a hotel as an inheritance for him. It was called Magic Beach Motel. Being somewhat of a kid and nearly a wannabe beach bum, Remington agreed to head to Vegas to take over ownership. Luckily for him, his sister followed along and helped him get it started under his name. She had a business degree that helped her teach Remington how to run the motel. She got him on his feet and the motel started to flourish. They thought they were doing good for themselves. But then troubled showed up in the form of the Weiss family.
The siblings didn't know that crime came with the motel. They thought it was clean and safe. What they didn't know was that their uncle received help from the Weiss family to stay afloat. It was then that the siblings learned they were going to continue working with the Weiss family even if they didn't want to. The family would give Remington and his sister, Alice, aid while they allowed the Weiss' to use their business to launder money. Not wanting to have trouble with them, the siblings decided to still keep the contract. Doing some allowed them to reduce stress off of their lives. It was easier to run the business and keep the motel running. The extra "help" came in handing when his sister got sick and guest stopped coming.
Alice was only thirty five when she took her last breath. Remington was thirty four. He remember his age because it was when his life changed. His sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer and only had a few months to live. It was bad for them and hard to run the business. Remy tried to manage both, but had to close up the motel in order to focus on his sister. The closer didn't last long though. She was in so much pain that she just couldn't hold on. And Remy hated seeing his sister suffering. Which lead them to finding the right person to give them a poison that would end her life quickly and painless. It didn't take long for Alice to pass.
Remington was all alone in Vegas, in America. Since the motel was left to him, under his name, he still was able to keep it running as best as he could. Years went by and he only had a few employees to keep help him out around the motel. Thanks to the alliance with the Weiss family, he was still able to pay the few employees he had. It wasn't only the Weiss family that kept him afloat. He had told confidently about how he helped end his sister's life.
And well that one person got the word around to the right people. Before he knew it, Remington was the one to go to if you wanted a quick, private, and quiet goodbye. It was mostly individuals who came to him because they either had cancer or AIDS. He did help them mostly without pay, but there were some who gave him payment for stopping whatever pain they were in or the loved wanted to thank him. Quietly he took the money and quietly he paid the employees with dirty money.
The years to follow, most employees stayed with him along the way. But others started to leave and he was almost left alone. Until Vyvyan Bing came into his life. She was someone who needed help and well Remington was good at that. She had told him about what happened to her and immediately he felt protective and gave her a place to stay. It was perfect for them both. Vyv got help that she needed and taught her what he could with her being blind. While Remy was given the opportunity to have another person in the motel. She didn't replace his sister, but it was nice to have another person to care for and take care of when needed. The motel was less lonely.
By this time, Remy had stopped "killing" people since it was taking a toll on his mental state. He had only intended to let his sister die peacefully. And he did. Somewhere deep down Remy knew she'd be proud of him for helping others while they were suffering. But word got around far too fast of what he was doing. It quickly went to the Weiss family. They came to Remy with a proposition to work for them as a contract killer. But since he had "retired" from aiding others to die, he rejected the offer and suggested that he became their cleaner. They would still be able to use the motel, but also give him profit back for cleaning up whatever murder or death they needed him to. An agreement was made and Remy became their only cleaner. It isn't the best job, but it pays the bills and Remy is still able to keep ownership of his motel. Luckily for him, he turned out to be really good at the job. Thus leading Weiss family to leaving their arrangement secret.
