We’ve lost to many children and now our sun child is in danger. When will we be able to rest?!

I am of the group of people refusing to believe Tanjirou isn’t going to come out of this anything but stronger. :) The rest of them however….. Not so safe. No one is safe. Literally the only one who is technically “safe” is Tanji imo

I wish mobile had read more’s but basically my theories are:

1. Nezuko shows up and helps somehow

2. Tanji defeats the poison while everyone is fighting off Muzan and comes back stronger than he has from any other healing process in the past (because that’s a proven occurrence) and AWOL

3. Tanji “dies” (not permanently, don’t ask me how idk, it just seems possible, maybe a thinner veil exists between the realms when you’re on the brink of death) and we get a mini arc of him learning a lot in the afterlife from everyone who has died so far that most likely has useful information which he didn’t get to obtain before they passed.

Either way, I trust Gotouge! They have given me no reason not to and everything up until this point has had a strategic purpose. They have a plan, we just need to wait.

I’m pretty sure that this is what’s gonna happen but at the same time I can’t be sure because Gotouge has unexpectedly killed off important chars before and technically if tanjiro died nezuko could take his place,,, but for real, props to gotouge for managing to actually scare their audience about a main char dying when w/ literally any other shonen we’d be like ‘haha that’s cute, he’s not dying’

Note where I say: strategic purpose. They may have died unexpectedly, but that doesn’t mean it was a meaningless or pointless death. All of it is leading up to something.

remember that quote tanjiro says that if he dies, then someone else will take his place to defeat muzan - all the people who had died and succumbed to muzan and the demons - all their efforts will be worth it in the end since someone else will do it for them in the future

remembering this quote now feels like ... it alludes to this ... foreshadowing ;-;
