In all his years (which really isn’t that many in the first place…) Jinyoung could easily say he’s never been this nervous around a girl. Gone was his confident nature and instead he was a true teenage boy talking to his crush, what was the world coming too. But still, there was enough of this silly stuttering, he had to retain some dignity or so help him, Hyeri would never let him hear the end of it (because it would get to her, somehow these sort of things always did…) Dignity, Jinyoung, save it! “Uh… yeah— no, I’m… leaving them here.” Rubbing the back of his neck he shrugged a little. He didn’t want the books, not from his father mostly because they’d just prove to be boring and dry law books. Gross. Why was it so hard to look her him the eye, his palms were sweating…
"But Hogsmede is good! We can go… if you want to… yeah, I’d go with you… sure." He traded his stuttering in for babbling, which wasn’t really an improvement, but the sort of butterflies he was getting in his tummy was new and he didn’t quite like them, but he really liked Yeon soo so if butterflies came with her then so be it. Did she feel butterflies too? Probably not, he was just being weird… It was just his heart talking. "So um… we’ve dropped off the package," Jinyoung indicated toward the parcel resting in the snow on the bench and nodded, to give himself confidence mostly, and looked back toward Yeon soo. "And we’ve decided— I mean I need to get some last minute shopping in, mostly for Hyeri," (and you? Maybe, if his heart didn’t stop racing he wasn’t sure if he’d make it that far) "So yeah, we can go now if you want?" Be strong Jinyoung, be strong. "If you’re ready that is—"
"Oh, alright then, I mean, if that's what you're going to do." Yeon Soo states and although she's curious, she lets it be, taking one more look at the package before grinning widely, "Great! I'm ready. I brought a few coins out with me, just in case, you know, I didn't find anybody to go with. But thankfully, you've agreed so now I don't have to go by myself." She cheers slightly, a small fist bump emphasizing her happiness.
With that, she walks along side Jin towards Hogsmede, the air an oddly refreshing sort of cold. Clasping her hands behind her back, she takes long steps, trying to keep up with Jin while laughing at their difference in step sizes, taking a look back at the snow to see their foot prints. "Jin, wait up!" She lets out a childish wine before jogging up to him.
"My legs aren't as long as yours, slow down!" She pouts slightly, gently reaching out and tugging at his sleeves, an odd habit she developed due to her short stature. After realizing what she had done, Yeon Soo pulled away, her cheeks slightly red as she let out an awkward laugh, rubbing the nape of her neck with a sheepish smile flashed towards the Slytherin, "Sorry, bad habit, you know, since I'm short and all. I hope that was... okay?" Trailing off, she gives him a shy smile.
