'a ripe face' soohyuk∞eunji
He nodded and listened to her. Eunji literally emitted a kind of brightness that Soohyuk had always had issues keeping in, she was a pleasure to have as a student of his own. It had been over five years since his last visit to her home, he remembered the days well but he also remembered when she was rather small in comparison to now. Admittedly, he looked at her up and down just to fathom the fact that she grew into her feet properly.
He used to worry that she’d have troubles finding her shoe size.
"Oh?" He nodded and was going to let her finish before he could explain his own occupation now, but her next comment was nostalgically ironic. "Oh — no wonder."
Soohyuk let out a laugh, a genuine laugh at the memory of her mother. A strict woman with the interest of living through her daughter and only looking out for her best interests as any mother would, especially one of pure blood. He previously remembered her going to the sister school of Durmstrang, therefore the acquaintance between him and Eunji’s family.
He shrugged softly at her questions. “I don’t know why I’m here, frankly. It’s been a while since I’ve had a butter beer, but I have time to waste.” Soohyuk then nodded and took in a breath to explain his current whereabouts. “I’m actually the head matron at Hogwarts, I used to work as the intern at St. Mungo’s, as you remember. But I’ve done my part in walking up the ladder of life,” At the lame metaphor he smirked softly, his personality already molding to his eighteen year old self. “— I came by train, actually. Fortunately, there are students roaming around on a little field trip so I decided to get on last minute for the hell of it.”
The sixth year looked up at the doctor and beamed. She always liked him since he always listened to her talk on and on. He never seemed to think she was weird and never seem to think she was wrong in anything. She had this unique respect for him and she never really understood why. Was it because he seemed so mysterious? or was it the warm smile he gave to her, even though he has a rather cold disposition.
"Butterbeer?" Eunji grinned ear to ear when the man mentioned the beverage. Eunji always viewed butterbeer to be a delicacy that she could rarely drink. "I haven't had one for so long..." she mumbled to herself and then smiled. "You the matron? Oh is that why you're here?" She continued to inquire with a curious grin. "How come mother never told me about it.?" Then again how would he know the answer to that?
The sixth year's eyes glistened as her grin turned into more of a curved pout. She widened her eyes at the man and began to blink feverishly while her grip was on his arm. "Oppa, will you buy me some butterbeer?" With that, she ended her request with a sweet smile that she knew would melt his heart. "Didn't you miss me??" She wondered to herself, if it was alright for her to do such a thing. She felt like she was manipulating him in away; however, she didn't seem to care. He was family after all; family is supposed to take care of one another.
