Note From a Love Struck Gryphon

I’ve been at my mates apartment for four and a half days now. There’s only one and a half days before I leave to make another four hundred mile trip home, but then seven days after that I’ll be back to help him pack and move out to my place where we’ll follow each other all the way home. So. I don’t think I’ve yet found a way to really show how much I love him yet..we’ve sat around bonfires, ate doughnuts, kissed and danced under the stars, raced down dirt roads on bicycles and skipped stones into babbling creaks. Yet…I love him so much more every day and I feel like I owe the world to him. His life has been a little rough, and I don’t think he’s ever been treated the way he should be since things got rough in his life…I just want him to feel loved by everything and for him to no longer feel alone. I want to carry him to the highest mountains and watch him open his wings and glide all the way back down while the warm wind races against his soft fur, me keeping up behind. I want him to grow stronger and find success in his life while we find ultimate comfort and success in our relationship. In about 15 days I’m moving him somewhere new to start a new life, and I’ll be by his side through the dark and the glum, because if he’s happy. I’m happy.
