what brush do you use... it looks SO good

ahh, you're gonna have to be more specific, i've been trying different brushes depending on my mood...

the only one that's kind of stuck is this one, although i've fiddled with the settings a little bit to fit my liking. it's the most frequent one, i use it for sketching/when i don't feel like making lineart.

an embarrassingly fresh realisation i've had is that the most frustrating thing about my art process (for me) is my inability to put things off and take breaks in-between work. in my fifteen or something years of drawing i'd not considered that doing everything in one go might be somewhat unhealthy and also bad for my art process. i might be stupid

#any of you dare mutter a word about attention deficit in my presence... i'll change the trajectory of our lives forever then and there #it is frustrating. i can't leave a wip alone for at least an hour to go stare at the sky or something #and then come back to it and continue work. i just can't. i lose interest. the “flow” or w/e the kids call it #i can polish things! i can make them look somewhat presentable! but once i deem it “done” it's over. i post it. out of sight out of mind.#that's not how art works i'm afraid. at least not for healthy people.#it must be an hour or three of non-stop working my ass off on a single piece i'll end up hating anyway.#every single one of them has to feel like the last one i ever make.#whatever. i'll figure something out. eventually. just a quick introspection.#certified rum yapper moment
