I don’t know, I guess I’ve been feeling like my portrayal just isn’t matching up to my standards ( or some other people I won’t be naming here ) and that I feel somewhat replaced? Just getting a bit overwhelmed with the plethora of amazing Jack blogs that are out there and while I definitely will be back, I just don’t know WHEN.
Thank you for understanding either way, I’ll be online every now and then to send in memes to people but other than that and the occasional art reblogs, don’t expect too much from me.
To add to the whole bunch of negative stuff, my depression has flared up to unmanageable levels thanks to my anxiety being a little bitch and liking to remind me that, YES, there are plenty of more amazing portrayals out there of everyone’s favorite old grumpy man.

Something that actually bothers me:
People who see Soldier 76 as some grumpy problematic man who UNFAIRLY stole the Commander title from Gabriel
Soldier 76 is actually a broken grumpy soldier who lost direction after the explosion but still holds a little bit of hope that things could still change for the better.
And Morrison did NOT steal the Commander title, HE EARNED IT. Reyes was a leader but it was said that Morrison apparently had a bigger impact to the Overwatch team. He “brought out the best in people” and united the team.
I’m sorry, I’m just tired of people acting like Reyes did all the work and Morrison just grabbed the title from him. They were both important but apparently Morrison was more fitting for Commander.
True, but think about this. Reyes did all the work, Morrison had moral for his team. I mean i bet the explosion happened because Morrison actually cant lead as well as Reyes. Tbh i think Strike worked so well because they had both Reyes and Morrison, Reyes was put under Blackwatch,because you know they could trust him to get shit done, because he was the better leader even if he couldn’t bring the best out of people, he is gonna know what to do.
Its even in history that people will follow and look up to someone who gives them hope. And can bring the best out of people even if they can’t lead or plan assaults well. Did he steal it? Yes and No. Because he has moral and charisma to bring people together, a face people would want to see for something like Overwatch. But Reyes was the tactical leader, the one to plan things out. This is seen just by the UN putting him in the Black OPS part of Overwatch.
No matter how you look at it, the UN screw up and screwed over Reyes when they should have both been commanders because they can fill in the spots the other can’t. And they were friends they would listen to each other.

"Jack!" Gabriel barrels into the other man from behind and clings to Jack's back. "Hey blondie, miss me?"
Jack stumbles the slightest at his partner’s entire weight slamming into him at full speed ( kudos to his super soldier strength there) && before he graces the other man with a reply, he steadies the both of them, one hand moving behind him to latch onto Gabriel’s neck with a small huff.
“You’re back!” There’s a hint of RELIEF in Jack’s voice, the slightest tremble that gave way for the edge of worry that had etched its way into the words.
“Mm… ‘Course I missed you, Gabe. Simply buried myself in paperwork to keep myself distracted.”
