PREDATOR by Lee Gikwang
Hyun didn’t think there was anything inappropriate in what he was asking. It was dark, he was tired, and he was damn cold despite having a blanket on, so yeah, in his mind, having Jun in his arms was a terrific idea. Would he ask anyone else to do the same? No. He knew it quite well, he was definitely using this as an excuse to have him closer, but the other doctor seemed more hesitant and he could understand why. But rules were meant to be broken, right?
He had admitted to be flirting and the answer wasn’t one he was expecting, maybe he was reading the whole situation wrong and doctor Seomun wasn’t interested in him. He could deal with that, he had no troubles on admitting it.·“If the flirting bothers you I can totally stop, you don’t have to accept the invitation if you don’t want to” He assured him. but damn, he would like to hear that the other felt the same way too, it would be awesome.
“My hands won’t touch you, although that ruins the whole spooning experience” He told the other, making enough room for him in the bed so he would know he would keep his word. He smiled when the other took his place, his eyes easily closing, he was too sleepy to fight it anyways.·“So you don’t want to be the small spoon?” He asked one last time, just to be sure.
Jun didn't reply to his colleague's offering to stop the flirting attempts. He didn't really minded as long as the other wasn't forcing anything. And in fact, he couldn't deny he wasn't attracted to the other's advances. It had been a while since someone had shown romantic interest in him, and Jun was probably taking a major role in that. So he kept silent, using his tiredness as excuse to remain inresponsive to Dr. Min's words.
As soon as he had squeezed into the space next to the other doctor, he felt the warmth taking over him and gently pushing into the world of dreams. Even if the amount of time they had for a night rest would be quite short, since the phone could ring at any time, he could feel his body relax immediately. Which was quite surprising, considering the fact that a man, a handsome man was laying right next to him who was quite shy in situations like that.
Luckily, there weren't many major incidents in the next few hours of their nightshifts. Just a few more short timed calls until they could turn off the notifications on the phone at around 6am. Under normal circumstances, Jun would try to return home as fast as possible, as he liked to sleep in his own home more than in the hospital, but since the shift was way more draining than usual, he stayed curled up next to Dr. Min, sleeping peacefully. He wasn't really sure, when he had turned around and moved a little closer, but when he woke up, first thing he was greeted by was the sleeping face of the younger man. "Well, dang. Aren't you handsome?" He murmured and slightly shifted in his spot to slip out of bed without waking the other up. His face was beetred.

Jun was laughing. That was all Hyun could notice as he tried to fully wake up from the nap he had been taking. He half sat on the bed, resting his body on his arm, tilting his head as he looked at him·“I’m saying I’m sleepy, you’re sleepy, and it’s always more comfortable to sleep with someone, I was a little cold anyways” He explained, thinking he made tons of sense but apparently the older doctor did not understand what he was saying.
“Steal me? Or still from·me? Two different things, if it’s the first one I’d expect you to be the one robbing me” He chuckled, hoping to see the adorable blush on his cheeks again, which he did see when he mentioned that they should spoon together. His question didn’t surprise him but it did make him laugh, a lot.·“If you have to ask then I’m not doing a good job. Yes, Jun, I’m flirting with you” He simply said, being direct one of his greatest qualities. How could the other not notice that he was flirting?·“I don’t invite anyone to my bed, even when I’m just asking to spoon” He clarified because it could be misinterpreted.
“You can always leave first and I leave later so no one notices we are together in here, and well, you’re already inside, if someone is paying attention they already noticed you’re in the same room as I am” He told him, patting the spot next to him again·“Come on, I’m cold. I promise to behave. I won’t kiss you unless you ask me to, that’s a promise” Now that·was an obvious act of flirting, right?
He pinched his nose bridge lightly. Jun could feel his eyes becoming all droppy, turning duller than the usual sparkle. It was true that it was more comfortable with someone by the side and in fact it sounded quite tempting, but that still didn't justified them doing so at the hospital. Even if it was supposed to be simple sleep, it was still somewhat intimate and therefore inappropriate. Getting involved with colleagues was never a good idea. The risk to cause chaos in a work environment after a break up was too high.
The older doctor shoke his head. It became more and more evident that the other was flirting with him, but Jun was in disbelief. To him, there was no good reason for the other doctor to do so. He wasn't special. "I see..." Jun replied to the other's confirmation about the flirting attempts. A mixture of confusion and warmth arose in him. He felt flattered to be the object of someone's attraction, but at the same time he was troubled. Troubled at the fact that Dr. Min could find someone much better than him and troubled of his own work principles. If he was honest to himself, Min Hyun was exactly his type. "Well, then... I guess I should thank you for the invitation?" He said in a confused voice, standing completely still in his spot next to the bed.
The younger man was absolutely right. Someone could have already seen Jun walking into Dr. Min's room. "That's my bad. I should have checked properly." Would the taller male be offended if Jun kept rejecting his offer? He wasn't very experienced with these kind of situations, having been in only two relationships so far (which was kind of obvious with the amount of times he blushed at every little comment). Plus his work ethics kept him from caving in that easily. Though he couldn't deny that he really wanted to squeeze in next to the other. Or how he wanted to experience a kiss from the other. "... Fine. But only because I just want to sleep. And keep your hands to yourself!" Slipping under the blanket just before, he turned his face away from the other man and tried to keep as much distance as possible. Although the body warmth Dr. Min emitted made it really hard to stray away.
ohsunhee-gsw:
Part og the job included making everyone feel like home, making sure they enjoyed their time at the Pink Room and take care of all the possible troubles before·they happened. It was why Sunhee always knew what was happening in the entire club, waiters and waitresses always giving her signs, an unspoken language that made her aware of what clients could be troublesome and ruin the experience of a great night. This time, it was no different.
A waitress and a nod of her head let her know there were some clients bothering some nurses, or at least that’s what she figured out when she approached them, a man trying to calm things down, the menace of calling the police not being the best one for the business.·“Yuhan, Mr. Chu, don’t tell me you’re bothering these nice ladies right in front of my eyes, you swore to me your eternal love just the other day” She said as she grabbed the men by their arms, a seductive smile on her lips. Dealing with drunk men was her expertise, after all, they were the best clients·“Why don’t you go to the VIP tonight? Tell the guard I’ve sent you and we will share a bottle of champagne, on me” She assured them, watching them walk away.
She turned around, her attention now on the man who tried to help the young ladies·“They usually respond better to women than to men, so don’t feel bad about it” She assured him, looking around·“Can I buy you a drink? I don’t see what you’re having, but for the hard times, maybe a bottle of champagne for you too?”
When Jun was already mentally preparing himself for an unwanted fist fight, someone approached the quarreling group. To his surprise a tall, beautiful and charming woman had entered the stage, immediately soothing the pestering men in front of Jun. Blinking, he watched her, it was quite a show after all. Actually, he couldn't really agree with them entering the V.I.P lounge after harassing women. After all, it felt as if she was giving them a reward for doing so. Even though she had managed the situation with said promise, he wasn't too sure about this solution.
He smiled at her, when she began to talk to him. Nodding, he agreed. "I guess so." The doctor offered a hand to the stranger. "Thank you for the help, by the way. Though I would have preferred if you threw them out, since they behaved pretty nasty." He spoke out honestly and smiled once again. "Ah, no thank you. I don't drink. But maybe you could order a bottle for my nurses? Since they are doing such a great work." And as some kind of reassurance to prove her support towards fellow females instead of misbehaving men.
He looked back at the group of colleagues who were more or less enjoying their time here. Luckily everything had worked out, even though an irky feeling was left. "My name is Seomun Jun, by the way. Pleased to meet you. Are you working here?"
gswdaejung:
daejung, of course, had noticed how often jun liked to come around the police station to see him. and, of course, he always carried an excuse with him so it didn’t look like he had just shown up to see him. of course daejung had noticed this, but he hadn’t really said anything about it. though he had considered it on multiple occasions. but right now, when he was so tired he could barely open his eyes open, and jun was there with coffee, telling the other man not to come around as often was not at the forefront of his mind.·
“mm, thank you,” he just mumbled as he reached for the cup, instantly feeling better as he wrapped his hands around it and felt the warmth spreading through his palms. giving it a blow a couple of times to try and cool it down, he did slightly feel better after a couple of sips. it was good coffe. certainly better than anything the crap old coffee machine in the staff room could handle, anyway.·
jun offered to get food and for a moment, daejung almost considered it. but he quickly shook his head as he put his cup down.·“no. no, it’s fine thank you.” while he was a little hungry, he could always just order something later.·“i’ve still got a couple of reports i need to go through and edit, so i’ll be here for quite awhile.” his later night-early morning was certainly not ending anytime soon. so, he glanced back at jun.·“you don’t have to stick around. it’s not very interesting.”·
jun was probably a bit obvious with the amount of times he had come to see the handsome officer despite his rather short time on the island. of course he had always tried to mask his true intention by bringing stuff and such, but still. he probably fancied this face a little too much, though he wouldn't ever act on it. far more than bask in the other man's handsomeness, the doctor genuinely wanted to be his friend. after moving from seoul to gwasuwon, he had made quite a good amount of friendly acquaintances, he however would love to call more of them friends.
so he felt happy, when daejung accepted the offered cup of coffee (same applied to the other officers, ofc). he watched the other man enjoying the heat emitted from the cup, before doing a taste check. jun smiled softly, when a bit of tiredness visibly fell off daejung's shoulders. after all, he really liked to care for others and spoil them.
"are you sure?" he frowned at the answer. the officers did look hungry though, so he quickly added a "today's my day off, so it wouldn't be a bother at all". from what he had seen so far, he had believed being kind to each other and support one's neighbourhood was some kind of small-town mentality that had been long lost in seoul. so he had wanted to help out, wherever he could. but with the way daejung reacted, he wasn't too sure if it was right anymore. "is that so?" he mumbled under his breath, visibly disappointed to be send away indirectly. if anything, he would have loved to stay a bit longer and spent a bit time with daejung. but he guessed it was easier to leave now, since the other was busy after all. "then i'll see you around..."
gswyongsoo:
Being sick did not stop him from watching the news. People on this island needed him more than ever but even getting out of bed felt difficult.
Since the power was out, Yongsoo had relocated to the living room next to his fire place where it was warmer. He pressed as close to the flames as possible without actually touching it, but even that did not grant him any relief from the cold. He was pale and shaking, his muscles hurting as if there’s something inside trying to push its way around.
He received a visitor, even among all the chaos.
Somehow he managed to push himself up into a standing position and struggle to the front door to let Jun in.
“Come on in,” he greeting, trying to sound like his normal self and absolutely failing. “I heard a lot happened during the last few days.” Yongsoo shut the door behind Jun and ushered the other in. “It must be cold out, I’ll make you tea…” Except on his way to the kitchen, he half collapsed against the wall. Okay, maybe it was too soon for him to be attempting to walk at a normal pace.
“I am fine.” He held up a hand, which meant do not help me, I can stand up on my own. This weakness frustrated him, and Yongsoo needed himself to recover faster so he could go help out in the power outage.
As soon as Yongsoo openef the door to greet him, Jun immediately regretted to have taken a visit into consideration. His heart throbbed painfully, when he saw the other's pale face and heard the shaking voice. He shouldn't have forced the other out of his bed, just to open the door for him. "Hyung, I don't need you to pour me a cup of tea!" He called out, shaking his head, a worried expression on his face. And apparently these worries were eligible, seeing how the older man collapsed against the wall. "I am just here to check on you."
Yongsoo was still the stubborn guy from back then, Jun thought while watching him struggle to keep his own stance. "Hyung!" Ignoring the lifted hand that tried to signal him he was fine. Jun supported the other man, pressing a hand against his shoulder. He was just as stubborn as Yongsoo. "I'm sorry you had to get off your bed to open the door for me. Let's get you back for now and then I'll cook you some soup." He gently said, while patting his ex-lover's back. He didn't really cared about seeing a weak side of Yongsoo, as long as he could make sure the other was fine.
"I'll borrow your kitchen for a moment." The doctor said, before pulling up his sleeves. "Just give me a second."

The power outage was one of the biggest nightmare scenario Jun had experienced in his medical career so far. Of course, the hospital had its back up generators that provided the facility with energy, but it was barely enough to keep emergency services running. Regular schedules were basically kept at a bare minimum and if possible postponed for indefinite time. It was heartbreaking to have to sent away patients, just because they had no capacities left. They had no idea for how long they had to endure and sit tight during this state of emergency (and if the back-up power generators would run out of battery until then), but Jun felt just as stressed and anxious as every of his colleagues. It was almost like a fine line about to snap. The health system was at it’s most fragile state.
And honestly, Jun wasn’t in best shape either - he was tired, but mentally and physically. Dragging himself through shifts and trying hard to help wherever he could, regardless of his area of discretion or not. He simply wanted to be of use.
So when he was shooed away by nurses to rest in the break room during a nightshift, he reluctantly left to get some sleep. To save some energy break rooms were just sparely illuminated, just enough to walk around the room without hitting a foot against the corner of the bed. He didn’t really minded, as long as there was a bed to take a nap in, so he carelessly stumbled inside without checking the occupation status properly. Putting down the pencils and the pager, he slipped under the blanket, just to found it warmed up by a body next to him. Jun quickly jumped onto his feet, heart racing, when he realized the room was already occupied. “Oh, sorry. I didn’t noticed there was somebody here already.” The emergency surgeon blinked into the darkness, just to make out the handsome features of Dr. Min looking back. “Dr. Min! Why didn’t you locked the door?”

Hyun was exhausted. Working with no power, or well, with backup power was a real mess. People with no power kept having accidents and the hospital was very busy, meaning the doctors were having a hard time and he was sent to rest by the nurses, an indication he didn’t say no to. After all, a tired doctor could make wrong decisions and he didn’t want to risk that, especially now. So he took advantage of the slow movement (thanks to God) and he went to the break room, crashing the second his head hit the pillow.
He was dreaming when he felt a warm body next to his and it felt nice, he reached trying to bring the body closer but it was gone, and instead he heard the voice of Dr. Seomun who was apparently next to his bed now. “It was warm until you left” He said moving so he could see him properly. He was still sleepy so he wasn’t thinking straight. “Didn’t want to leave anyone outside in case they wanted to sleep as well” He explained, moving to leave more space in his bed. “Come on, we can sleep together, you’re the perfect size for spooning” He told the other male, a small chuckle on his lips.
Jun seemed more surprised to see him there than he would expect, after all they worked together and saw each other through the halls a lot. “Come” He patted the space next to him, his brain still looking for the sleep that was interrupted. “I want to sleep and it seems like you need it too”
Jun wasn't too sure what this mess was supposed to mean. Normally every break room was supposed to be a single's room, in order to prevent from inappropriate situations to happen. Of course there were possibilities of other doctors or cleaning staff running into an occupied room unknowingly, but this was the first time it ever happened to Jun. If it would have been someone else instead of Dr. Min, the older man would have been out of the door in a split second. Instead he dwelled in the other's presence, strangely feeling all fuzzy and comfortable being in the same room with the taller doctor, despite his exhaustion. "What are you even saying?" He shoke his head, rubbing his eyes, as he tried to suppressed his laughter.
Jun let out a sigh. "I don't think it's a good idea to leave the door open like this. You should have heard all the stories of patients sneaking around and stealing stuff. What if someone steals you away?" He still managed to joke, even though he was dead beat. His tiredness however disappeared, when he heard the younger male's suggestion to sleep together. "Spooning?" He parroted, blood immediately rushing into his head. "Dr. Min I am wondering for a while now. Are you..." Jun probably shouldn't ask such an inappropriate question in a professional environment, but he couldn't hold back any longer. "Are you perhaps flirting with me?"
The worst was that the spot next to Dr. Min indeed looked very welcoming. Especially when it's gotten so cold without proper heating. But how could they dare to engage in such an inappropriate situationship at the work place? "Regardless of your answer, I should leave and look for another break room. What would others think if they saw us coming out of the room together?"

minhyun-gsw:
Hyun felt more selfish listening to Jun’s words. He wasn’t like him, at all. You could say he cared for others but that was only his job and he didn’t do it from the heart. To him, being a doctor was an obligation, and that was the clearest difference between the two of them. Jun seemed to genuinely care, even when he didn’t know him that well, he had given up his lunch just because he worried, and in Hyun’s mind that was a difficult concept to understand. “I’ll let you pay this time but the next one will be on me, and I won’t take a no as an answer” He was already thinking of a next time and he wasn’t sure how to feel about that, but it was a concern to deal with it later. Now, he would make sure to enjoy the other man’s company without thinking too much into it. After all, in his mind he was no longer doctor Seomun, he was Jun, the guy that worried about him even when he shouldn’t.
“I don’t know how else we would reach the beach if we don’t ride it together, so yes, yes we are” He chuckled, handing him his extra helmet and helping him put it on. “You look adorable by the way, it’s a little too big for your head but it will work, don’t worry, and I’m a great driver so you won’t actually need it” He assured him, making sure it was tight enough before putting his own.
“Come on” He said taking his position “Arms around me, don’t be afraid to hold yourself tight, I won’t go too fast” He promised, hoping Jun wouldn’t be afraid of motorcycles after their little ride, after all, in his mind, this was one of the best ways to travel, another way to feel fully free.
"Sure. It's a deal then." He agreed with a soft smile. Jun didn't really saw a problem with that, even though he was reluctant to let the other pay, since he was the older after all. But then again, colleagues should treat each other well. And eating meals together, when both of them were alone, would surely ease that sense of loneliness.
When the taller man confirmed their ride on the bike, Jun was torn between being excited since it would be his first motorbike ride and being a little shaky since it was still his first ride after all. He reached out for the helmet and carefully pulled it over his head before looking at the other a little sheepishly. "Are you making fun of me just because I am short?" The older man asked, trying to cover up the embarrassed tone in his voice. "Just you wait!" He lifted his fist and made a scolding gesture. Was it strange that he lowkey liked being called adorable by the other? Even as a grown ass man, he perceived it as compliment instead of an insult.
His heart immediately began to beat faster, when Dr. Min sat down on the bike. They were about to 'take off' and excitement automatically kicked in (and had absolutely nothing to do with him getting to feel up his colleague's waist and shoulders). "Alright then, please excuse me." He politely said, before wrapping his arms around the other man's waist. "I am really excited to see your special spot soon!"
gswataru:
the smells circling the air, and the wholesome ambiance that swirled around the vendors gave her a bitter sweet taste of home. well, better put- her childhood. those years she spent living in that countryside somewhere in japan as a kid felt like of like this, although she didn’t participate much in the festivities then. she was still a mindless child stuck behind the footsteps of a overly paranoid mother.
the leaves caught her eyes the most, they changed color and waved in the breeze. that soothing sound of each hardening and shifting leaf made her want to just- close her eyes and take it in. the smell of the food in the air, presumably the popular smell of all the persimmon flavored items circling the market mixed with the autumn wind and it gave her a bit of dopamine. she hadn’t really thought about it, but- maybe this was her favorite season.
a swift breeze caught her frame and she closed her eyes once again, letting the wind softly tease at her hair, and the ripples in her clothes. it felt so good, her arms opened up to her sides… shamelessly not pay attention to where she had stopped. but, at the time.. her coast was clear. now, that pleasant moment was interrupted. the smell of fresh permission sat on her sweater, and her eyes couldn’t do anything but stare down at the stain- her chest caving in while holding the fabric away from her skin. taru must’ve of really zoned out, because the first few things that flew out his mouth flew right over her head. “uh- it’s… it’s okay.” the journalist sniffed, but only cause she’d caught a bit of a runny nose. ataru’s brow lifted between the two. going to a strangers house? the woman stared at him. not sure what she should say. “…i’m not so sure…i’d be shirtless, in your home.” a strangers home. that didn’t sound right.
When he heard the woman sniffing, he made big eyes, almost panicking at the thought of causing someone break into tears. This was definitely how he had imagined things to go, when he had stepped outside during his free day. It must be very uncomfortable to wear a wet shirt in this cold weather let alone the embarrassment to be seen by others like that. He at least would be. Jun proceeded to gesture in the direction of his nearby home, ears turning slightly red at the guilt from causing such a ruckus.
And they gradually became even redder, when the female in front of him spoke yet again, making a reasonable statement. Thinking back, his offer definitely sounded a bit odd and maybe even concerning. Even though it was far from his actual intentions. "Oh my gosh, yes of course you would be! How silly of me! That's definitely not what I want!" The doctor quickly reassured the stranger and took of his jacket to hand it over.
"How about taking my jacket for now, so you won't catch a cold? And I could take you back to your home to-" He stopped himself, when he realized that this offer wasn't better than the previous one. "I mean- how about I pay for all cleaning expenses?" Why did everyone he said at the moment like he was hitting on her?

&&. from friends to strangers
At moments like these, when he got to meet old friends and acquaintances again, he truly believed it was the right decision to have come to the island. Jun was far away from home, and yet he felt more or less empowered by the fact to be around dear people from his past and got a new chance to rekindle any kind of relationship with them. In the end Jun was someone who held everyone dear, he had ever befriended before, no matter if they were still in contact or not.
So it was absolutely not uncommon for him to approach yet another friend who he met during studies in Seoul, when he recognized her beautiful features during some grocery shopping. Actually, their friendship had been a pure coincidence. If he hadn't been dragged to the party back then, they had most likely never gottent to know each other better. Even though he wouldn't exactly say it was a happy first real memory of their beginning friendship, since Miri could have been in real trouble if Jun hadn't interfered. As he disliked drinking, Jun usually kept a close eyes on those getting a little more dizzy than they probably were supposed to be. How many times had he heard of accidents and crimes happening after intoxication? So he usually looked out for intoxicated party people, which happened to be Miri that one time. No idea who that other guy was or what he had planned, but in the end Jun had preventively kept Miri close to her group.
The doctor lifted his hand and waved over the vegetable stands, trying to get the attention of the female who he had become closer with after the party. "Miri-ah! I can't believe we are running into each other here! How are you? How are things going for you!"

As someone working in the medical field, he had learned to live with bad news (even though he still hated them). In some ways he still had hard times to maintain the right distance between him and a patient, as it was important to stay rational instead of emotional. But in this case, upon hearing someone from his closer circle to friends got hurt and even died - though just for a split moment - he felt his heart drop. He had just met Yongsoo again and caught up to him, fostering tender bonds back to present times. He had been always aware that the other was living a dangerous life, but never had he thought he would be informed of his death and miraculous resurrection so short after their reunion.
Part of him wanted to drop everything on the spot, wanting to rushing over to his dear friend and former lover, while some other part was scared of what to expect. Even if he was still alive, was he alright? Would they still be able to talk? Putting all fears and doubts aside, he rushed over to the address the other had given him before, as soon as he was able to leave work. Whatever it was, Jun felt like he had to see Yongsoo and check up on him. They were friends after all.
When he arrived at the house complex, he took a deep breath and knocked at the door. Jun tried the suppress the shaking in his voice, when he said: "Yongsoo-hyung, it's me, Jun. Are you there?"

gswyongsoo:
“Good, good. Nothing really changed for me.” His life was happy and fulfilling, though a bit repetitive. Every day he woke up and did similar things, but Yongsoo supposed that was fine for him. Adventure had never been something he desperately craved - he was just a man of habit and enjoyed peace as well as comfort. This island’s wellness was everything to him. “You can call me whatever you want, Jun.”
The path they walked down was one he took often. Or really, they took often back in the day.
“Yeah,” Yongsoo said. “I actually only own this one pullover.” Partly it was because he didn’t shop and the other reason was because he was born warm-blooded. Even in the winter, he never got excessively cold and can probably get away wearing shorts and sandals if he wanted to. However, he was told in the past by some people that he looked good in winter clothing and therefore for the sake of being handsome, he’d wear long sleeves, coats and occasionally a scarf.
Due to the festivities, there were some stands out. He stopped by one of them to buy them both a warm beverage. The stand was busy - people picked out a paper cup first and wrote their own name on it while waiting for their turn to order. Yongsoo grabbed a red paper cup for himself and a white one for Jun. “Are you back for a visit or here for good?” He asked, picking up a marker. Since they had time, he decided to start drawing on the cups because deep down inside, a certain 40-years-old man’s inner child never died. “I went to Seoul a few months ago to see a friend and it was too busy for me.” He handed Jun his cup back once he finished drawing a little fox on it. For himself, Yongsoo wanted to draw a lion.
It was a relief to hear the other was doing good. There was always a part of him wondered how his first boyfriend was doing and if his stressful and dangerous life style had made him sick. But seeing Yongsoo overflowing with glow and vigor reassured him that at least this part of the world was still alright. It made him smile softly and warmed his heart. Just like the countless hugs of the older man back then, when Jun used to whine about winter's coldness. He remembered the other always feeling way too hot (which was true both physical and appearance wise), so it was so much better to see the other having kept his present .
Which was somewhat flattering considering their split up was years ago. The doctor nodded and smiled at the taller man. "Alright, then I'll call you Yongsoo-hyung in private and chief in public." The two of them took an old, familiar path and pleasant and carefully kept memories of them walking down here together returned to him. They stopped by a stand to get something warm to drink.
"No, I am currently staying here. Working at the local hospital and stitching up people." Jun replied, but decided to keep it to himself that he basically fleed Seoul to find peace on an island he mostly associated good memories with. And one of the reasons he did so, was standing right in front of him. Scribbling on paper cups. "Yes, I guess Seoul can be really busy." The doctor agreed, knowing that the business could even kill people who couldn't withstand the pressure. "But it's good to be back, hyung." He giggled at the fox drawing. It was cute. Jun glanced over to see what Yongsoo was drawing to himself. "A lion for Gwasuwon's lionheart firefigther chief, hm? You always picked the coolest pictures for himself." He teased and lightly smacked the older man's arm. It truly felt like they jumped back in time. To those times, when the world was still brimming with happiness and no worries for him.
