Hey Goo saw your post about g/t Leon from resident evil and was curious if you had any personal head cannons you wanted to share about him being tol or smol
*rubs hands together* Oh boy howdy, do I.
-Leon has to be reminded not to just. Scoop up other officers/agents in his hands. Or at least give a warning before he does it. But he wants to talk with his partners on an equal level, and he really does try to be gentle. It’s just easier to talk to people when they’re on a rooftop around his eye level, or in the palms of his hands, instead of kneeling down and straining to hear all the time. That, and they’re easier to protect that way!
-Leon does. Not. Like. Being. Manhandled. When tiny. Ironically enough, considering the headcanon above this one. He doesn’t like being picked up and called ‘cute’ or treated as anything less than highly-ranked special agent Leon S. Kennedy of the BSAA. He’s content with standing on top of tables or bars in order to speak with comrades or friends a bit closer to eye level, but he hates being put into any situation where he has to rely on others. He will absolutely grapple down the chair leg even though it’ll take longer, thank you very much.
-Leon, when giant, is more than a little stoked to be fighting BOWs “on their own turf”, aka he’s about as tall as the larger BOWs on record and he LOVES it. Mr. X? I think you mean “Mr. Tiny Nuisance”. Leon definitely isn’t thrilled to fight giant BOWs Godzilla-style. Definitely not. Oh my god he loves it so much he’s such a dumbass nerd, he loved those movies as a kid
-Ada is getting pretty good at dodging Leon’s grasp, but sometimes he’ll pull a fast one on her and keep her trapped in his hands until she actually answers his damn questions for once.
…He always lets her go pretty quickly, though. Her infuriated yelling while she squirms to free herself from his fist is… he doesn’t really like it. He has a soft heart and he doesn’t like using his size against other humans if they don’t deserve it.
-Surprisingly, Giant Leon is still great with kids. Most people are intimidated by his sheer size, but like. With Sherry? Sherry wasn’t threatened at all because kids just kinda Know™ that Leon is a big ol’ softie after they’ve been properly introduced to him. And he’s a total pushover. Kid wants a shoulder ride? Oh he ABSOLUTELY has time for that. The latest mission can wait for five seconds.
-Leon is also really dang protective of Sherry and Claire! He’s established a sense of familial bonding with them, and therefore, he would die for them. At a giant size, this can be… a bit overbearing, especially when Sherry goes into the government agent business when she gets older. Leon will scoop her right up out of a fight, and she’ll yell in protest that she had it covered. Or that no, Jake is not a threat to her, he is just her charge for as long as necessary, NO, Dad, he is NOT a bad influence!
Claire admittedly gets… more than a little sweaty when Leon gets protective of her. It can get on her nerves because ffs Leon she has LITERAL ACID BULLETS and can handle herself, but it’s… admittedly nice, being held in his hands, especially after going through some crazy bullshit with Chief Irons or Mr. X. Sometimes Claire just needs to relax and Leon at a giant size? Perfect to relax on without having to worry about getting murdered by zombies or other humans.
-Leon will get sO FRUSTRATED if he’s tiny. Seriously, it’s his Thing to protect everyone, but how can he do that like this?!
…He does appreciate giant glasses of whiskey, though. That and giant plates of food. Those make being stuck at this stupid height ALMOST worth it.
-Sherry is the only person allowed to pick Leon up as much as she wants. He loves his little kiddo so much, and he trusts her— she was raised to be a super obedient child (maybe a little TOO obedient, in Leon’s irritated opinion bc her parents were assholes) and she would never do anything to him.
-Please for the love of god, don’t tell giant Leon about Sherry being captured by the government and used as a lab rat for months on end.
On two separate occasions, actually.
Leon wait no you can’t just declare a fight on the head virologists who were studying her, please don’t commit murder, that’s illegal—
Oh, you were just gonna rip the roofs off of the testing facilities and warn them to stay away from Sherry? And perhaps throw in a little extra threatening for good measure? That’s fine, then. Have fun.
-Oh my god. I want to touch his hair so bad. As a tiny? Gently fluff his hair with my fingertips while he protests. As a giant? BURY MYSELF IN THAT TWINK’S HAIR. YES. Also in later games he develops a lot of nice-looking stubble. I desire to run my hands over it while standing on his shoulder or in the palm of his calloused hands. T e x t u r e. But giant-sized. Y e s.
-Leon still maintains a healthy rivalry with Chris, despite being hundreds of times the size of the other Resi protagonist— he admires how ridiculously strong Chris is, and likewise. They’re both just dumb guys bein’ dudes, hanging out and having a drink. Never mind the fact that Chris is getting tipsy while perched on Leon’s shoulder, and Leon has gone through his third barrel of beer and he’s STILL not buzzed, damn it.
-Listen, young Sherry would absolutely practice braiding hair by sitting on Leon’s head and braiding his hair. Even though the strands are definitely longer than she is, they’re thankfully thin and decently easy to maneuver. Leon just worries that she’ll fall off his head, but Sherry promises she’ll be careful. Always.
-Ada marches up to Leon’s head while he’s resting on the ground. She notices hundreds of little pink ribbons attached to his hair. She decides not to tell him.
Also her cellphone is supposed to be strictly for business purposes, but she HAS to get a picture. He’s even drooling a little in his sleep; how cute, even though he still easily looms over her even when lying down.
