Each spring The Golden Triangle packs up a truck full of treasures and heads to north to Glencoe. Re-imagined every year, our booth is an eclectic mix of ancient and modern furnishings nestled among the indoor gardens of the Esplanade tent. bedrooms of The Golden Triangle

For the 2016 PROJECTwindows challenge The Golden Triangle strayed from duplication of the world’s most famous bedroom and embraced interpretation through the abstract, color saturated lens of Post-Impressionism.

Much like Van Gogh’s nomadic lifestyle, our bedroom is an eclectic mix of vintage furnishings from around the world. The room is anchored by British Colonial pieces, including the curtained glazed door backdrop, a four-poster canopy bed on elegantly curved cabriole legs, and a pair of openwork armchairs with rattan seats. Channeling the broad brushstrokes of vibrant colors in his later works we hung indigo and cerulean scarves from Thailand behind the headboard, tucked a teal mirrored armoire in the corner, and brightened the original maroon bedspread to a bold splash of red.
