Piper nodded to herself, “Well alright, that makes sense.” She replied simply, blinking a couple of times as she heard him, furrowing her brows a bit on confusion, “I didn’t know you have a brother…” She said softly, she was 100% sure she had never heard of that before. “I used to love my house’s vhs player.” She admitted with a shrug, “I would watch hercules on it about 3 times every day.” Piper added, not even bothering on arguing more about it, still stubborn as ever.

“No?” He asked, shrugging, the action seeming to be his most signature move in the conversation. “He’s dead.” The words came out straight and internally it left a sting all over his body to even say or think about, no matter the state. His features hardened for a second before laughing over the mention of hercules. “Such a stupid Disney movie...”

He hadn’t expected much of a response from Donte… hell, part of him didn’t think Donte would respond at all. “I’m not pushing anything.” He retorted, his eyebrow pinching together slightly. “And no, I’m not done.” He adjusted himself on the bed as he looked at Donte. “She’s a great girl, D, and she’s human, she deserves to be treated with respect. You disrespected her and she deserves an apology for that. You go around acting like nothing ever bothers you and pretending to be apathetic about everything but I know you. I know you well enough to know you at least kind of like her. You’re human too, Donte, as much as you pretend you’re not. And you deserve to be happy.”

“Why does everyone think they are welcomed to sit or lay on the bed next to me.” He muttered under his breath annoyed with the realization people seemed to always just jump in. “Nah.” Was his respond to Levi’s lecture. Sure he could have responded with a longer argument, but what was the use. Levi just always seemed to push the blond, telling him he was a better person and all that shit. Shit, Donte didn’t believe it so why would Levi even bother with trying.

The girl smiled lightly as she saw him gesturing, “So, how would that work?” She wondered curiously, trying to bite a laugh as he repeated himself. “I’m taking you like Shrek…?” She tried ttling her head to look at him, rolling her eyes slightly, “It’s not about quantity, Donte it’s about quality!” She pointed out with a nod.

Shrugging, he wasn’t even aware of the entirety of the plan himself. “It just would. If it doesn’t work then it doesn’t.” He told her and then nodded. “My brother and I used to watch it a lot. It was the only set of movies we had on vhs since the shitty tv we had at the apartment still had the vhs player thing.” Donte answered, not even feeling like talking about his brother openly with anyone but Levi bothered him. It was most likely because of the medication at the moment, but he was completely fine with talking to Piper about it. “Same shit.”
