I've been by myself for every New Year, but I still dream of a time when there will be someone who will want to kiss me on New Years...

I need to talk about human Jack for a minute.

So you know how he’s been confirmed to be 17-18 years old. Well it didn’t hit me at first but when I watched the flashbacks of his life again I suddenly realized it only shows him PLAYING WITH KIDS. He’s a 17-18 year old teenage boy and instead of going around hanging out with people his age he chooses to play with his sister and the village kids. LET THAT SINK IN FOR A MINUTE OKAY.

Let me also add that at that time period he was probably pressured to grow up and start acting like a man but he didn’t because he loved his sister and the kids of his village THAT EFFING MUCH.

Also remember what he said to his sister before he died, “We’ll play hopscotch, like we do everyday.”

EVERYDAY GUYS!  EVERY. FRICKEN. DAY.

He is not only the the best big brother ever, he’s also a brother figure to a lot of the village kids too. I CAN’T DEAL WITH HOW PERFECT THIS BOY IS.

what if the year he was born there was a shortage of food and he was the only baby to survive (HINT FUCKING HINT) so there was even more pressure on him because he was the youngest man in the village. 

(because i can’t imagine people having kids yearly in a small village like that in that time period, so there was always the chance that jack cared about the kids so much because he still viewed himself as one.

maybe he was too scared to become an adult, perhaps.)

Antoinetta was a lovely name, Elsie thought wistfully. “Excuse me, this might sound strange. But where am I?” She asked, her voice with some panic. 

Antoinetta looked around at the area they were inhabiting. “Judging from all of the trees and wildlife, I would say we are in a forest,” she answered.

“Alright,” Elsie nodded. Later she would use magic to contact her brother, but for now she was happy to chat. “It’s a great forest.” She looked up at the bright sky, “That’s a fabulous blue!”

Elsie liked the stars and the sky. It was like shining pearls were watching her, making sure they were okay. The darkness reminded her of the Korean dragon, protective yet terrifying. “Do you like the dark?”
