'Guard Me Sherlock' is a mobile game made by Shall We Date. The game is no longer being updated by the creators.

My blog is a fan blog that focuses mostly on the game, but also expands to other incarnations of Sherlock Holmes.

I write for all the characters of the game. With small little changes.

If I write Mikah, if it's romantic it will be in the AU of MC and Mikah meeting again after he's grown up without her there.

If I write Irene, I will write in my Con Woman AU, unless requested.

I have changed the MC's agent's name from Simon to Diana, unless requested

Keep in mind I am slowly working on moving screenshots from my third location to the google drive, but it may take a bit as I can only sit at my computer for short periods of time. (11/21/2025)

‼️Archiving/Dub Help Needed‼️

Hi everyone! At the moment we need a lot of help with our archives. For those that aren’t able to record, any and all help is greatly appreciated to help me look through footage of our archives to make sure eveurthing is good and ready to go! We have less than a month left before terminations so it is very important we find any bad footage ASAP before the time comes.

We also need help on our archiving server to get footage of routes and endings with our Dub team’s MC names for each game to make it easier on our cast! (We have some people who have already gotten the default names, so most things are covered we just need help with dub names) For anyone willing to help us gather recordings with these names, we have an archives server here: https://discord.gg/KVWj2d2eEF

Our MC names for each game are:

- Wizardss Heart: Icy Crystals

- Blood In Roses: Cecelia (Witch) & Lailah (Hunter) both have the last name Valor!

- Lost Alice: Amelie Riedel

- Ninja Shadow: Saori Shisido

- Love Tangle: Julia Darwin

- Guard Me Sherlock: Jane Marple. (We need the most help with S2 routes!)

All footage gathered will also be posted on a channel called “SWDVault” WITH CREDITS to everyone involved in the recordings!

We are also looking for help with collecting and CGs, premiums, diary/journal entries, assets, etc anything we can get!

Have you heard that Guard me, Sherlock! will forever get deleted on 28th October? I’m actually so sad about this, because I kinda grew up with this game. T^T

I hadn't heard about this until your message.

I am gonna see what I already have saved. I know there are others out there trying to record and archive as many of the stories as they can.

It's been a while since I've opened the game so I hadn't seen the update. I have seen other games from swd posting about the same notice too.

It feels odd to think of the game going away. I still have my notes about the ideas I once wrote to swd about. But I suppose the game is about 9 years old. I started playing in October 2016, starting this blog in January 2017. Sparking a love of Sherlock Holmes beyond GMS.

Some players grew up with it, or it was a good part of their adult life.

Even if it's going away, we can still save screenshots that mean a lot to us before then and hold onto them.

We can still write fanfictions for the characters and our own versions of the MCs, draw/commission art, and find little ways to enjoy and remember the stories.

Do you know how to save an app by chance? I've archived every single GMS video and screenshot I can find (the folder is 31GB and I'm still not done 💀), but I'm not sure how to archive an app

I'm trying to save as much as I can, but I'd like to preserve the app, too. I can't stand losing content of this game 😭

There isn't a good way to save the game as a whole, a lot of people are screen recording. I have a lot of albums that I made when I read the stories the first time. But those are going to take me a while to put in a google drive that is easy to read.

Back when the game first came out it was easier to access the assets in the game like the sprites and backgrounds but SWD made it harder, I haven't heard if anyone has been able to extract the assets from the game as it. I tried to do it the other day but it didn't work for me.

2nd surgery done

Hi everyone!

I'm still alive, and had this saved in my drafts for me to post once I was out of my 2nd surgery. Both arms are done!

I commissioned the art from @iraseugin

It's been a wild ride trying to get these done, even since my first surgery. I've gotten shots to help with any linger pain. Had another health scare that confirmed a chronic illness and a need for a different quick surgery.

For a while it looked like I wasn't going to get this surgery, but I did it! I am so relieved. (Or I assume I am since I'm typing this ahead of time since I'm going to be a little out of it at the time of posting.)

I do have to thank my doctor, and honestly he seems as enthusiastic about my surgery as Dr. Stillman would be, but as kind and understanding as Dr. Watson.

And I wanna thank all my friends who have stuck by me since the accident that caused this. Especially those who accommodated my needs so I would be in minimal pain and be better for recovery. Even when I got a little forgetful about my limitations in the face of playing with kitties.
