Hear me out, what if instead of the Luca AUs where Alberto dies how about one that’s little mermaid esc, in the sense that Alberto would meet a sea witch and be offered everything he could ever dream off, a nice home, a Vespa, his father loving and not abandoning him, etc and he could have that but Luca and Gulila would lose their families (I.e. Gulila would have no family and Lucas parents would fight and hate each other) it would be so interesting to see what choice he’d make, y’know? Classic ultimatum, x character gets everything they could ever want but in exchange character z looses everything 

(Edit: my wording in my original post came off as rude and I apologize, i didn’t mean it to be rude to anyone (I do like the “what if Ercole didn’t miss” AUs))

So I was doom scrolling on TikTok when I found a video of someone drawing ciccio and guido as sea monsters and one of the comments talked about what if ciccio was a sea monster and was revealed near the end so… ofc I had to do this (it’s so ahh!)

i think because of the whole "writers write for themselves" notion that's becoming increasingly popularized, people forget that we still thrive off interaction and kindness. i write for myself but kudos and comments and bookmarks and really any sort of interaction with my fics genuinely motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing my works.

I have seen many theories of albertos mom, and why she isn't around and a small part of me thinks that albertos bio dad r@p3d albertos mom and she ended up pregnant, once she had alberto she could have abandoned him with his father and she could have unalived herself, and not wanting to get caught and punished for his actions albertos dad took alberto and hid away in the tower and to him alberto was a constant reminder of what he did so, he started believing he was "better off without him" and left because he decided leaving and running from what he did was better than facing the consequences of his actions, this could be why alberto never mentioned his mom because he never knew who she was, and why his dad would leave without remorse because he probably didn't see alberto as his son and more of a reminder of what had done.

Also albertos dad could have been a heavy drinker, leaving alberto home alone for days on end when he got drunk but he eventuality came home this could be why alberto held onto the idea that his dad would come home.
