So my niece was helping my mom in the garden when she stepped in an anthill, realized she'd stepped in an anthill, stumbled back, fell, broke her ankle, and had to lie there for twenty minutes waiting for an ambulance while mom did her best to brush ants off her.

She's apparently gonna need surgery and mom is covering the yard with ant powder.

Recently finished these gloves in Katia Concept Kanerva. The pattern is All Fingers and Thumbs by Sybilra (who has a Tumblr account actually. Check out their designs because all of them are so cool and innovative!). They were really fun to knit and I learnt so much.
