The Ghost Forge is a dark place within the deepest reaches of Moria, and it was there that I ventured to free the lost souls within.
-Tyranel
As a newly inducted contributor to the ‘Guide to the Free Peoples’, it is only fitting that I introduce myself.
I am Eaothen of Rohan, a seeker of justice and defender of law and order. I seek a fugitive escaped from my lands, and lend my blade to those in need as I pursue my quarry.
-Eaothen
I have lent my strength in arms to many in the past days, including a small raiding party looking to raid the Great Barrows and slay the evils within. A worthy application of my sword.
-Eaothen
My adventures in Moria have been the highlights of my career as a Champion, bringing me to heights (Or, rather, depths) that I had never dreamed of.
-Tyranel
My travels in Moria have taken me to many great places, but few compared to the mysterious lost Treasure Hall, where we faced many foul undead and two great trolls. Myself and the group of adventurers that had been mustered were able to fell the beasts and recover much lost lore of the Dwarves.
-Tyranel
Having adventured far and wide for some number of months, I came back to find my old home foreclosed; I rectified this by purchasing another, finer home for myself.
Located in the Pengdir Neighborhood at 4 Twinfall Avenue of the Falathlorn homesteads, my home is open to all who need a place to rest for the night. Several of my companions may be found here at times as well.
-Tyranel
Another high point in my adventures was participating in the retaking of Pelargir, where I battled alongside the sons of Elrond and the forces of Aragorn, the returned King of Gondor, to drive out the Easterlings and the Corsairs.
-Tyranel
Following the trials of Gador Gúlaran, it did my heart well to return to Bree and rest. The plucking of strings is a fine way to calm the mind after swinging the sword.
-Tyranel
At the cost of Narmeleth’s life, Mordirith was slain and Eregion was saved. Though Narmeleth’s passing pained us greatly, we took pride in the lives we saved with her help. It will take much time for Angmar to recover.
-Tyranel
We made our way to the summit of the foul fortress at last, and faced off with an incredibly powerful shade of the Steward of Angmar, Mordirith.
-Tyranel
Our first task was to destroy the Ring Narchuil, and in turn defeat the wielder, Mordrambor. We fought fiercely and braved the heat within, succeeding in our first labor. More laid beyond the magma of this place, however... including Narmeleth’s destiny.
-Tyranel
I have faced many trials in my quest to aid the ailing folk of Middle-Earth, but none compare to the evil within the foul fortress of Gador Gúlaran. I and three other enterprising heroes stormed the keep with the aid of Narmeleth to destroy both Narchuil and the Steward of Angmar once and for all.
-Tyranel
The best of times are had with friends! I had the lucky opportunity to host a party for a few up-and-coming heroes of Middle-Earth!
-Nehpeta
It has been some time since my last writing, for I have been quite pre-occupied with my explorations. The deeps of Moria are a marvel of engineering and architecture, truly the envy of all the dwarf-kingdoms. I hope to contribute to its retaking.
-Tyranel
The fight with Skorgrim, the most difficult fight that I have had to weather in my entire life. After many exchanges of blows and nearly breaking our weapons through sheer wear and tear, Gimli and I were barely able to cut down the fearsome dwarven leader and put an end to the reign of terror by the Dourhands. The spirit that escaped Skorgrim's body unnerved us, but it did little to diminish our great victory. Gloin was overjoyed and asked me to take on another quest, but I declined for the time being; my travels now take me to Forochel, where I may seek more people to aid in desperate times.
-Tyranel
Skorgrim's personal guard was composed of several dwarves, giants, and apparitions; all who were felled easily by Gimli and myself.
-Tyranel
Gimli and I only had a moment to rest in-between fierce battles.
