My post WGI blues have set it earlier than expected. This season has been one of the most transformative for me and I am forever grateful that I had someone like Scott to guide me alone the way. He is more than a boss or a mentor, he has been an unconditional friend to me and been there when I most needed it most. Along our journey this season, I took it upon myself to write down a few things I learned from Scott and share them. 1.) Always be yourself. Love Yourself. You are enough. Don't live your life trying to please people because it will never make you happy. All you can do is your best and those who love you unconditionally will be there for you. 2.) Fight for your students. They are your greatest asset and they are always on your side. When things get tough or difficult, you fight with them to insure their success. Be honest with them and in exchange they will give you magic on the floor. 3.) Success is measured in different ways. It's not always about scores or placement, it's about seeing the growth your students have achieved throughout the year/season. Personal, academic, or even performance. Nothing makes that more real than when they come up to you and say "Thank You for all you've done". 4.) "Think Big! Think Humongous!!!" Never limit yourself and your potential to be great, because in the end, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. And I did:) 6.) Cherish the people in your life, especially your parents. And no matter what happens, the love of those people in your life will always follow you where ever you go. They are in the stars, the ocean, the wind, the moon and even the bright sun. 5.) With Love, anything is possible. And with it we create magic. Dare to love big and do not allow anyone to dim the light of love inside you. Overall, Thank You Scott, for making me a better person than I came in. I have grown as an instructor and am so excited for what is to come next. Thanks for opening that door. I will never forget it. ❤❤❤
