Garfield Object #017 Rating: Excellent Condition: 9/10 Comments: This is a good Garf! So good, so fluffy! This Classic Garf has an egg sac with it, as you can see, and it is probably directing the sac through the air. Egg sacs of Garfields are similar to balloons, and can float.
RIP Harvey Ball, inventor of the smiley face 🙂 (1921-2001)

Moiën!
That’s hello in Luxembourgish - this week’s #WeeklyTongue!
Luxembourgish is spoken by approximately 400,000 people worldwide and is the national language of Luxembourg alongside French and German. It is a Germanic language with similarities with German and Dutch, as well as some words borrowed from French.
Luxembourgish has three genders (masculine, feminine, and neuter) as well as three cases (nominative, accusative, and dative). Three genders and some cases - we can see the similarities with German here!
However, to form the comparative in Luxembourgish, we add the adverb ‘méi’ in front of the adjective. Interestingly though, the superlative is formed by adding ‘st’ to the end of adjectives.
At school, lessons tend to be in German with Luxembourgish explanations to begin with until later on in school, all lessons are taught in German except maths and science, which is taught in French.

Yeah, it’s pretty exciting. Special thanks to our designer Ciara Gay and the incredible team over at Scout Books, who tells me there’s a decent chance traces of recycled pizza boxes may be found in these pizza journals.
