The Bloom’s weird. Some people think it’s cursed.

Debatable really, but it’s got some great health benefits too.

It makes fish grow bigger, great for seafood, and when ya boil it and extract it from the water it makes a great mud mask.

Hell, just being close to the ocean gives Newcolor folk younger skin and healthy bodies.

We’re practically sick resistant.

Some say the Bloom can even bring back the dead.

80 years ago, from the depths, a hand reached the heavens and a star was ripped from the sky.

In panic, the star burned the hand and fell far into the ocean near breakers.

In fear, the star grew arms and ripped the beach upward, running deeper and deeper while the land grew higher and higher.

There it lays to this day, too fearful to approach the ocean, too cold to dig any deeper

Beyond the coast, beyond the water,

Our sister town once stood.

When he disappeared, the town went silent.

Forever covered in a veil of dark fog, nobody dared to sail the Bloomsea.

What he saw is best left to the ocean, may the waters take Flensewater.

May it fall into the Sea

North of the lighthouse,

Walk until the breakers disappear.

There you will find a crescent line in the bay

Walk away from the water,

Await the fog.

The sea will calm and two shapes shall emerge

One of a figure and one of unthinkable size

Is it the skyline of a long forgotten city?

Or the visage of a long dead God
