Soft Steps, Strong Heart 💕👟
There’s a quiet kind of magic in dressing simply—but with heart. You don’t need heels or frills to feel feminine and alive. Some days, my favorite way to embrace Candie isn’t with glamour—it’s with softness. 💗
✨ Today’s look? Let’s call it casual sweetness with a side of sparkle.
Start with your fave pair of worn-in denim shorts—the kind that fit just right, hugging you in all the right places and making you feel cute and comfy. Slip into a soft cotton tank in a dreamy pastel or crisp white with a dainty trim. Then, lace up your canvas sneakers with a fun pop of color (you know I’ve got a soft spot for my New Balances 💕), and maybe—just maybe—pull on your cutest socks with a little lace or ruffle at the cuff.
If it’s breezy, throw on a cozy hoodie or an oversized cardigan that feels like a hug. Add a bit of gloss, a charm bracelet, or a sweet little anklet with a tiny chain that dances when you walk. ✨🌸
Candie style isn’t just about what you wear. It’s how it makes you feel. Soft, but radiant. Relaxed, but sparkling.
No runway needed. Just pass by a mirror... and smile at the lovely girl looking back. 🌈💕
Much Love to You, CandieHart 💖
I Wanna Have Fun, Too!
Girls have so much fun. I’m envious of it. I see it in my wife and in my daughter. I absolutely love letting my male guard down around them and being girl-silly. I’m unsure if you notice it, but having girl fun is different than when hanging with the guys. The fun I have with guy friends or with my sons is good. It’s not bad, but it can be a bore, stiff, and constrained. With my wife, as in a male with a woman, our time together is also good. I can’t say that I would trade that. She’s a pretty special person. Yet, when I’m together with her in a casual setting and can be less boyish around her, it’s so freeing. I’m filled with joy, I’m lighter, I’m content, I’m smiling. I’m a better flirt in my girliness than when trying to be all knight in shining armor (or the frog). I’m better with my wife when I’m the princess, and honestly, when I’m trying to be the male I feel like I’m a dragon. Double ugh.
Rest assured, I’m the man that my wife, daughter, and sons need me to be–however you’d like to interpret that. They know that I’m more feminine than many men around them and they’re cool with that. They know, at least in part, about some aspects of my girliness. They kid me about it some, but never in a hurtful way. With that said, I also know that I need fun times as a girl would experience them. I don’t get that opportunity as I would wish. Maybe it’s all a pipe dream and it’s not as fantastic as i think it would be.
I just wanna have fun like girls do. How about you?
Much love to you all. I wish many happy and fun girly moments for your life!
