As a proshipper, I feel uncomfortable seeing young darkshippers.

I feel like these spaces are not safe for them, and seeing dark/18+ content as a minor was a terrible experience to me.

Everytime I want to enter a discussion about proship, Im scared if a minor will see it and try to find out what is proship. Even if Im trying to discuss it in a fandom like Hazbin Hotel, I normally end up just deleting my comment or being vague about it so I can deliver the message that "yes, Viv is a bad person, her portrayal of victims is bad, I dont hate her for enjoying dark content, I hate her for lying about it and framing it as 'totally not my dark romance and actually the victim x abuser are NOT victim x abuser'." Decided to make pride art with my healthiest ship for good representation: Blue and Orange. Blue and Orange have healthy communication, even in difficult situations (like the one in where Green is banging Orange's inner god. Blue comforts him about it and assures that he knows Orange wouldnt cheat on him and that his inner god is just freaky, while Orange promises that he wouldnt). I headcannon Orange as pansexual and Blue as gay. They are happily dating. Blue likes to cook for his boyfriend and Orange supports his cooking skills (this man will never be hungry). I was thinking about making polyamorous bisexual Hacker (our polyamorous bi king) with his wife (straight ally and polyamorous) Mitsi (our queen). But I got lazy. Maybe later.

I also wanted to draw a black character after all the shit going on on the internet. But I think I kind of can see Orange as black because of his skin tone (orange is close in the color circle wheel)- maybe Blue too? I think the most popular black headcannon is Green, so maybe if Im not too lazy, I will draw Green in pride art. Maybe bisexual green.

When I was youn (I think it happened before 2019? And Im 18 so I was like, 12 or 11), I remember I did something horrible and unforgivable and then vented about it to the internet because I didnt like what I did.

Im afraid someone, one day, will find that post and think that I havent changed at all and that I support horrible things and then reduce me to that one day of my life in where I did that just because I wanted to comprehend why horrible people did things. And that day, before I even went through all the way, I noticed "oh my god, those people are truly heartless if they go farther than this, I dont want to be this. I wont even begin this. I will just stop right here before I do something that I cant take back.". I remember thinking exactly this "lets test it, because why do people do it? I want to understand them. Let me pick something I dont like much". And I feel horrible for that. For the choice. For how I was close to doing it. But I am grateful for the moment I noticed, just before I began "oh my god this is horrible I am so sorry". I cried that day. It was horrible. I have no idea how people love it. I have no idea how a human being can do it. I feel unworthy of being traumatized by it, because its my fault and nobody else's. I am so sorry.

I dont understand why I even thought about doing that.

Im scared I wont be able to post my art anymore and wont be seen as a normal human being anymore. Im scared of attracting the wrong kind of people, and then they see me as an example, as someone worth glorifying. "She is just like us fr!" No, Im not. If you support this, get away from me. Im scared of people.

TADC fandom for the past month and especially the past like 2 days

I dont understand the racism going on, and I need to admit that I downplayed it at first because "yeah haha its funny to say a slur but not in a derrogatory way but yes in a shocking way dark humor haha" but then Im starting to notice: wow. Im white. Its like that South Park episode about slurs said- I will never know how it feels, because Im not black. I will never know how it feels to be black and suffer racism and get called that, I will never know how it feels to hear that "joke" as a black person. If they said its racism, then it is.

I, as someone questioning lgbt, dont feel comfortable with the f-slur- how would I feel if someone said it as a "shock humour", but instead of saying f-slur they would say "fuagi" or something? I would still not laugh right? So maybe, I should shut the fuck up and change, because even if I dont like it, I might be racist, even if Im not shouting "I hate poc!", I may still hold values that are offensive to the black community.

And for this reason, I also dont feel comfortable supporting TADC anymore. I wont be drawing any of the characters besides Caine, probably. I might still watch the show, but it wouldnt be with the same love and admiration as I had before. Im not black, I dont feel hurt by the racism- what I feel is being weirded out about it. And also disgust. I WONT watch the movie in the theaters.

Another fact that helped me see these problems about me/the community is that I saw a person being xenophobic about brazilians because of the leaker. That was the last straw (and the straw was already going to fall).
