This was all so...strange to say the least.
Lewis remembers one moment shoving Arthur out of the way of...something. Then he woke up on the pavement of some random street. What had happened? Well, did that really happen? Jeeze, his head hurts...
He had gotten up to brush himself off and check his surroundings then froze...Everyone around him were just...skeletons and he knew for a fact those weren’t costumes or nicely done makeup. Not only that, the city was completely unfamiliar (Tempo was a small town in Texas where just about everyone knows each other and Lewis has NEVER seen these people before). Before he could say anything else some colorful animal with wings zipped past, just missing his head by a hair.
A beat passes and he notices he, obviously, caught stares of either terror or shock or maybe both from the people around him.
❛❛Um...Hola?❜❜ he offered, a nervous grin on his face.
❛Don’t just stand there,do something?❜
With that, Lewis had rushed off. Going where? Well, he didn’t know, he just needed to get somewhere much less populated to figure out what was going on (and find something to hide his face while he’s at it--)
It wasn’t until he reached the more run down part of the city that he stopped dashing between buildings and ducking past people. It was hard trying to be discreet when he’s a 6′5 fleshy man of muscle-- Lewis caught his breath, not seeing anyone around him then sighed.
❛❛Aye, dios mio I must be going crazy--- ❜❜ Lewis muttered to himself, dragging a hand down his face. ❛❛Am I dead? Nono, that’s...crazy-- ❜❜ he chuckled halfheartedly. ❛❛Then I’d look like everyone else here, right? But the living amoungst the dead? How would that happen? Ugh, if I only could remember---❜❜
A exasperated sigh left the young man as he tilted his head back and slid to the ground against the wall he had hid behind. ❛❛ Maybe it’s a dream or something? But it’s all too real...❜❜
