I think Zaraki and Toshiro had a soft spot for each other.

This probably look like Zaraki just show off his strength but come to think of it back, he did came to both of their rescue, no?

And this time, it did look like he’s protecting him. I know he’s smol but he’s clearly there.

And if you still gonna argue, I’M POSITIVE ZARAKI IS PROTECTING HIM IN HIS OWN WAY HERE. LOOK AT HOW CLOSE GERARD’S HAND FROM CRUSHING HIM BUT ZARAKI COME IN BETWEEN THEM IN TIME!

HE’S PROTECTING HIM! YOU NEED TO ADMIT HE DID HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR TOSHIRO!

And at the same time, Toshiro is worrying about Zaraki all the times as well!

Even when he’s hurt, he still worry about Zaraki.

I never thought they could have such a cute relationship but I do think they are cute. Not the ship cute but just cute. lol If you understand what I mean.
