He wanted to spend holidays with Takane. But perhaps it would be too selfish of him to keep her with him for the entire holidays, given how long the end of the year holidays were in Japan. So despite how his heart ached so much at the thought of not being able to spend so so much time with Takane (I love her I love her I love her I love her I want to spend the rest of my life with her), he too recognized the facts that his body perhaps couldn’t endure such exhaustion from spending much time outside. With Takane. (He couldn’t care less, but Takane would be sad. He didn’t want a sad Takane). Takane could get tired, too; so he guessed taking only a day out was something he had chosen wisely.
Everything had been planned out, and Haruka smiled to himself. Today would be a perfect day. It should. It must be a perfect day. He had planned this all week; a whole day with Takane, for him and him only. Ah, how he’d feel like on cloud nine whenever he thought about it.
Smiling to himself he calmly walked to the park where they were supposed to meet up, his strides long and firm, but not missing the every excitement he felt in every steps. Funny, people might say, how he was like that simply because of a simple human being such as Enomoto Takane. But screw the people, Haruka couldn’t care less.
Spotting the trademark pigtails of his classmates, his expression broke into a wide grin (Takane is here Takane is here Takane is here!), the boy obviously happy that the other seemed to be as eager to meet him as he was. Sneaking up on the girl, he placed his hands on her shoulders slowly in an attempt to scare her.
"Ta-ka-ne—!!”
While she waited for his arrival, she reached into her coat pocket, fumbling around a bit before she was finally able to grab anything with those gloved digits of hers. Pulling her phone out, she pressed the home button and did a bit of swiping here and there, trying to find the perfect song to listen to as she loitered around the park.
Since she was awkwardly trying to place the earbud in her ear, her sense of hearing must've blanked out momentarily because she didn't seem to hear his footsteps coming from behind her. And so since that was the case, she nearly let out a shriek when he randomly placed his hands onto her shoulders, goosebumps trailing up and down her arm.
Quickly, she whipped her head around to (fiercely) greet him, her brows immediately knit together, the corners of her lips curving downward into a scowl. "O--Oi, what the Hell was that for, Haruka?!"
Craning her head up a bit, her right brow twitched slightly in irritation. "You know you're late, right?" She just had to rub that in his face, despite him only arriving a minute or two after she did.
