New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a notification allowing the validity of MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology till 2025-26 academic session. The decision to validate MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology is taken keeping in view the important role played by Rehabilitation Psychology in delivering mental health services, UGC noted.
An official notification released by the UGC reads, "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD degree) Regulations 2022, notified on November 7, 2022, discontinued the MPhil programme following the recommendation of the National Education Policy 2020. Considering the vital role played by Rehabilitation Psychology in delivering mental health services, the UGC has decided to extend the validity of MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology till 2025-26 academic session only, in partial relaxation to the above Regulations. Accordingly, students can be admitted to an MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology programmes by HEls till 2025-26 academic session only."

KCET Counselling 2024: The round 1 mock seat allocation result will soon be released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The results of the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2024 mock seat allotment will be made public for courses that include architecture, engineering, veterinary medicine, farm science, BPharma, Pharma D, and BSc (nursing).
The Karnataka CET mock seat allotment result will be made available on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea today. However, the results for medical, dentistry, and AYUSH mock seat allotment, will not be published today.
Candidates were allowed to enter options till August 4, 2024. The options entered by the candidates will be considered for the first mock seat allotment that will be released today. Candidates will be able to access their KCET 2024 first mock seat allotment result using login credentials such as Application Number and Date of Birth.

DU UG Admission 2024: The University of Delhi (DU) has extended the date for preference filling for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024 phase 2 for admission into its Undergraduate Courses till August 9, 2024. Applicants can now submit their preferred courses and college names by August 9, 2024, at the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in
The press officially said, “Preferences saved by the candidates will determine the allocation and admission of the candidates. It is advisable to choose a maximum number of preferences in which a candidate is willing to take admission if offered. Addition, deletion, editing of the programmes and the Colleges after the deadline for Phase 2 will not be allowed”.
The press also said, “The last date for filling the preferences for Program + College Combinations has been extended to Friday, August 9, 11.59 PM. Candidates who have completed Phase I must log in to their dashboard to complete Phase II. The preferences saved by the candidate till Friday, August 9, 11.59 PM will get auto-submitted/locked and will be used for allocations.”
