When I have the sex talk with my kids I’m just going to tell them to follow the basic rule
“If your age is on the clock, you’re too young for the cock”
yeah, and when my kid turns thirteen imma go,
“Sit back down, I was talking about military time.”

do you ever look around at the big crowds of people around you and realize everyone has a story and memories and family and troubles and achievements and a first kiss and a broken heart but you’ll never know any of it and every human life is really intricate and expansive but oh they’ve walked into a shop and you’ll never see them again and you’ll never know just what they were thinking
I think about this a lot
There’s a word for this:
That definition is from dictionaryofobscuresorrows. While beautiful and a cool concept for a blog (I don’t wish to discount their work), I think it’s important that people know that a lot of people won’t know this word because it’s not technically a real word.
Interesting.

have you ever been in the mood where something small bothered you and then you suddenly just didn’t want to talk to anybody at all

someone at the door: rings doorbell
me: dives to the floor like I'm being shot at, army crawls around the couch, rolls into another room, peeks around a corner to see if I can tell who it is, and then proceeds to wait for them to leave.
The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It’s about what you’re made of, not the circumstances.

Here’s our reality: the one who is being arrested for mass murder is being escorted with a bullet proof vest for protection. God forbid he sold some cigarettes because then he wouldn’t even be alive.
please remember that even though father’s day is sunday, not everyone has a good relationship with their dad. no one is required to forgive a parent for hurting them. no one is required to love a parent just because they are related by blood. forgiveness is not required for peace of mind and if you guilt someone for expressing their hate for their dad on the 21st, you deserve to be punched in the face.
As someone who’s clueless about cards AND am a visual learner… thank you for this!
