Mandolin cutters are sharp.
I havent posted in a while, I lost a fight with a mandolin cutter, had to get stitches and I'm just now getting back into lifting T_T
I thought I'd feel too big to wear a cropped hoodie that showed my sports bra, along with gymshark shorts.. But.. I felt comfortable.. and I'm def wearing this again. - thrifted cropped high neck sweater - pierre robert sports bra - gymshark lift contour seamless shorts
This broken mirror, leaned against the wall, in an ugly room, at a beat up gym.. has the best lighting in the whole gym. Perfect for selfies, the ugly room becomes the aesthetic. I've also started wearing cropped stuff to the gym lately.. Here I'm wearing a cropped sweater, sports bra, gymshark shorts and wide leg sweatpants on top to warm up in. I've lost 15kg, and I'm slowly becomming more comfortable in my own skin!
Video is from a few weeks ago, dirty camera, just set up to check if my form was still decent. I'm investing in some lifting straps very soon, so I can lift more, without it hurting my hands too much!
Still loving the gym, havent been super good with going every week due to work, but I'm getting back into the groove :)
A few days ago I decided to just try regular deadlifts, and stopped at 40kg (about 88lbs), felt really good, but today I looked up a small deadlift routine, and my max lift currently is 50kg (110lbs)
So I just did two sets of 3 reps + 1 for good luck.. of 54.5% of my bodyweight!?
This all makes me feel so incredibly good, I love it.
Late night gym times. I decided today was the day I was gonna actually do a few sets of regular deadlifts, the heaviest I've gone so far is.. 40kg (88lbs) Felt good!
The gym I go to is.. well loved.. but anything can look aesthetically pleasing if you try hard enough. Also, I did 40kg RDL's today! the heaviest I've ever gone! Felt good.

I've tried to lose the same 66lbs for a WHILE now, like.. years. This is my millionth try, but this time I'm allowing myself to be obessive about it. Obessivly counting calories, macros. Working out 4-5 days a week. Weekly weigh ins. I'm a month in, I'm down 13lbs, and the days I don't go to the gym.. feel weird. Am I becoming a "gymrat" ? I sure fucking hope so. I'm 5ft3. 244lbs. Hopefully I can stick with it this time, I hate feeling this way.
