I know you can push it don in life-and-death situations but how about in training? Shadow fencing isn’t all there is, you know! If you practice sparring with the girls and ladies then you’ll learn their fighting style. And when you learn their fighting style, you learn how to work with them so all the enemy gets is a face full of your strengths!”

Lon'qu crossed his arms and looked away from her. She knew him too well, probably because his future self had probably done something about his fears. Maybe it was inevitable. Getting over his fear was probably a constant between all timelines and he couldn't procrastinate anymore. He let out a deep sigh.

"Fine, I'll let you help. But to an extent. I will still need some alone time, but I will allow you to spend some time with me. Then, if it helps, I'll branch out and get to know the other women on our team. It doesn't have to just be sparring, though. So don't limit our interactions to that."
