There’s good days and bad days. I mostly feel like I’m on autopilot with a low hum of sadness echoing through the “same shit different day”. Sometimes it’s louder and I’m sadder, sometimes I can barely hear it and the sadness is served with a side of guilt.

Shadows in Marrakech June 2019 There’s a word for the bright reflection of moonlight on a body of water; Moonglade, but there isn’t a word for the shadow that’s cast by a stained glass window and I think that needs to change in 2022. The attention to detail in Morocco had me in constant awe. This is just a small section of a wall in the oldest existing, continually operating higher educational institution in the world.

Our first riad in Marrakech was deep in the old city. Though beautiful, it was quiet the adventure trying to find it at night.
