I’ve been thinking there needs to be more Kakyoin fics. I’m DYING over here 

You go out on a date with Kakyoin!!

You were sitting quietly at the beach listening to the waves crash on the shore. It was finally summer, and you were finally able to enjoy it by yourself since your parents thought you were old enough to go out on your own. 

Crazy enough, you’ve always wanted to visit Japan, and your parents said yes as long as they came with you. They weren’t that crazy…as you were only 17. But hey, as long as you had to do everything on your own, you were fine with it. 

You weren’t even in a swimsuit; you were wearing a shirt you cut so it would show some of your shoulder and shorts. The shirt had your favorite band on it, and you wore it very proudly. 

You decided you were tired and had taken enough pictures earlier. You got up and grabbed your things. You took one last look, scanning the scene from left to right. Seeing kids play in the water or look for shells. Then seeing a boy to your right who was also staring at...you?

You kinda got creeped out because you weren’t the social type and because he wouldn’t take your eyes off of you. The boy realized his eyes lingered for too long and turned away quickly. You didn’t see the hard flush of the guy because you quickly ran away. 

As you were walking, you tried to remember the details of the boy. He was fairly tall, he had red hair, and was wearing a sweater with jeans. Lastly, his hair had this long strand at the front of his head, like a bang. You shook your head and walked into the hotel. 

-Kakyoins pov-

I decided to sit at the beach for a few minutes watching the waves. Well only because Jotaro made me go out after spending hours inside…I can’t believe he, out of all people, would make me go outside. 

After maybe an hour, I sat up to take one good look at the view from right to left. I saw beautiful trees and a couple walking down the beach. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have that close of a relationship. As I looked left, I saw a girl; she hadn’t seen me staring at her, and even when she did, I didn’t notice. 

I swallowed a lump in my throat; I felt like I wanted to talk to her but couldn’t bring myself to go up to her. She also looked pretty freaked out. I shook my head and realized I had been staring too long. I could feel my face burning.

Who was that?? It's as if fate knew I was thinking about wanting a relationship with someone…

I quickly gathered my thoughts and walked quickly to Jotaro's house.

-Your Pov-

You woke up pretty early, which was surprising because you usually woke up around noon. Something inside you felt like today would be interesting. You got out of bed and got ready for the day. You just wanted to walk around the city and take photos with your camera.

As you were walking around, you noticed a beautiful cherry blossom tree. “Wow, this is beautiful…” You whispered, taking a few photos.

“Damnit, the exposure is too high,” you sighed, fixing the settings and checking every few seconds that the lighting would be just right for the photo.

“Are you taking photos?” You jumped and turned around. “AGH!” Was it the boy from yesterday? How the hell did he know I was here? Was he stalking me??

“W-wait, I'm sorry! I didn’t mean to startle you!” He waved his hands in embarrassment as sweat formed on his forehead. 

You took in his features now that you were a lot closer. His eyes were purple; they were beautiful, like lavender. There were also two scars over his eyes, but they were small. He lastly had cherry earrings and… wow, a really handsome face. 

“Uh, are you okay?” Oh shit, you were ogling at this boy! “O-oh, I’m sorry! I just remember you from yesterday…My name is [Name]. What’s yours?” You held out your hand, and he took it gently, shaking it. 

“My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, but Nori is fine,” he said quietly. He seems really shy for a guy who seemed like he’d have a crazy fan club after him. “Wow, that’s a nice name, Nori! Would you like to join me?” 

Kakyoin was surprised; he didn’t think you’d ask him to join you, let alone even talk to him. “Uh, well- yes I’d love to.” They began walking next to each other quietly. “So why are you taking photos?” 

You looked at him and smiled brightly. No one ever lets you talk about your interests, especially when it comes to photography! “Oh well, I just really love photography! It’s a really amazing form of art, and I mostly love taking photos of flowers or animals.” You were happy you made a new friend, which wasn’t really the case back home. 

Kakyoin smiled; he thought it was nice that you wanted to share such an interest with him. “Wow, that’s really cool… May I see some of your photos?” You thought this was the biggest score of your life. A cute guy asking YOU about YOUR interests??? Better yet, he wanted to see YOUR WORK?? 

“Of course you can see! Just use this dial to scroll through.” You said, pointing at the small dial. You handed him your camera happily and watched him scroll through the recent photos you had taken. 

He thought the photos were beautiful. Each one was taken with thought, and each has a story behind it. “You’re really talented, [Name]. These are amazing!” He kept scrolling and found a photo of a fountain placed to the side, and the sun was hitting the water just right. In the background, there were trees and people living their lives; it was perfect. “Hey, you should really be getting paid for these; I’d definitely pay.” 

You felt the heat in your cheeks and laughed softly, “Thank you, Nori. That means a lot.” Kakyoin gave you a soft look and smiled. “Of course, [Name], these are beautiful.” 

He gave you back your camera, and you set the strap around your neck. Kakyoin decided to finally man up and say something. “Hey, uhm…would you like to hang out sometime?” 

“WHAT??” He wants to hang out with you?!?

“WHAT?!”

“I mean no- YES! sorry..Yes, I would love to.” You choked out as you rubbed the back of your neck shyly. “Great! Can I have your number so I can text you?” 

Now he wants your number? I mean, no shit sherlock how would he ask you out.. “Of course it’s (xxx)-xxx-xxxx!” 

“Thank you. I’ll text you later,” Kakyoin said as he put his phone back in his pocket. “Well, I think I should go..I’ll see you later, [Name]!”

“Bye, Nori!” 

Later that night, you were kept up thinking about the entire interaction…Holy shit, this guy asked me out…

-Kakyoins Pov- 

“Jotaro! Jotaro, where are you!” Kakyoin ran inside a huge house. It was the Kujo house, and it was pretty big for only two people living there. 

“Good grief, I'm in here!” Kakyoin ran into the room and saw Jotaro sprawled out on the sofa. He was way too big for him… He ran over and sat on the floor in front of his friend. 

“Jotaro, I asked a girl out!” Kakyoin said in a cheery tone, and Jotaro sat up quickly. “Since when the hell were you able to ask girls out?” Jotaro said a bit amused but still as stoic as ever. 

Kakyoin sat up and sat next to his best friend. “I don’t know! It was the same girl from yesterday at the beach.” Jotaro turned his head to look at Kakyoin. “I saw her taking pictures of a cherry blossom tree while I was at the park, and I just- went up to her! It was like nothing else mattered; I knew I needed to meet her.” 

The two teens sat silent for a bit, and then Jotaro responded: “Well, when are you two going out?” Kakyoin suddenly looked nervous and let out a dry cough. “Well, I haven’t actually planned the date, but I got her number, and I can text her right now!” Kakyoin pulled out his phone and searched for your name in his contact list. Then he suddenly stopped.

“Well, what’s taking you so long? Ask her out already,” Jotaro said, staring at his friend, who was shaking at this point. Kakyoin looked at Jotaro, sweating. “Well, what do I say? I’ve never talked to a potential girlfriend.” 

“Well you just- you uh..fuck I don’t know either!” Jotaro huffed. Oh, what lovely help, Jotaro. “How about you just say hello and go from there?” 

“Oh, okay… good idea!” Kakyoin said nervously. He turned his head back to his phone, shakily typing. 

“Hello! It’s Kakyoin”

Kakyoin quickly turned his phone off and set it on the sofa. “Geez, Nori, all you said was-“ 

buzz buzz!

Kakyoin gasped and picked up his phone faster than he ever had…

-Your Pov-

 

You weren’t really expecting a text from Nori and definitely not this early. 

“Hey Nori! What’s up?”

“Well, I thought we could go out and get lunch soon, maybe tomorrow?”

You stared at your phone, unsure how to feel. It’s crazy how you came to Japan on vacation and someone wanted to go out with you?!

But wait..I’m on vacation. 

“FUCK!” you yelled. Of course…OF COURSE! Right when things go right too.. 

“Look, Nori, I forgot to mention that I don’t live here…I’m just letting you know now that I'm on vacation and it might be best if we don’t go on a date.”

Damn…You sat back against the headboard of the hotel bed and sighed. 

buzz buzz! 

You looked at your phone nervously.

“Well, [Name], I'd still like to go on a date with you. I’d never pass up a chance to go out with someone as beautiful as you.”

You yelped at the second sentence and could feel your face burning. 

“Well then, I’d love to go on a date with you too.”

The next day, you were getting ready for your lunch date with Kakyoin. You even told your mom the night before, and she offered to help with your hair and makeup. 

“Oh, [Name], I'm so happy you finally found a boy!” Your mom said excitedly while doing your hair. She put a cherry blossom clip in your hair. “All done! What do you think, sweetie?” 

You saw yourself in the mirror. Your makeup had been done, which was a rare occasion for you, and your hair was done in a half-up, half-down style. You were wearing your favorite colored tank top that had lace and stripes with skinny jeans and boots. Wow, Mom, I look amazing!” You smiled at her. 

“One last thing: I bought these cherry earrings at the shop the other day! I thought they would look cute on you.” Your mom handed you the earrings. That’s funny. Nori wears cherry earrings… “Thanks mom, I'll put them on right now.” 

Your mom had always been a caring person, especially when it came to others. She always put others before herself, and even when you said she should be selfish, she sometimes declined. You always wished to be as caring as her.

-Kakyoins Pov- 

“Jotaro, what am I going to wear!?” Kakyoin was pacing around his room in a panic while Jotaro lay on his bed. “Good grief, Nori, it’s just a damn lunch date.” Kakyoin paused and turned to face Jotaro, slumped on his bed with his hat over his face. 

“Well, it’s my first date, Jojo! I’d assume you’d panic as well!” Jotaro sat up and pulled his hat off his face. He was hard to read, but his face didn’t depict any anger. Jotaro sighed, “Just wear what you usually wear, Nori.” Wow, thanks again, Jotaro, for being such a good helper. 

“Just get out of my damn room so I can change.” Kakyoin sighed. Jotaro got up and left as Kakyoin walked to his closet. He picked out a white button-up and rolled the sleeves a bit. He then put on green pants. “This looks like I’m going to an interview…” Kakyoin sighed. 

“Did ya pick something out yet?” Jotaro walked in and looked at his friend. “Geez, Nori, are you going to an interview?” Kakyoin huffed angrily. 

“I don’t know what the hell I'm doing!” Kakyoin stressed. Jotaro sighed and rummaged through his friend’s closet. He picked out jeans, a long sleeve, and a jacket. “Here, put this on, and you can borrow some boots I’ve got,” Jotaro said as he left the room. 

Kakyoin got dressed and looked at himself. “This isn’t so bad…” He did the rest of his routine as Jotaro got back from retrieving his boots. “Here, wear these, it’ll match your outfit.” 

“Thanks, now I need to pick up [Name] from-Shit I don’t even know where she’s staying…” Kakyoin pulled out his phone and started typing. 

Hey, I forgot to ask where you were staying. It totally slipped my mind.”

“OH YEAH! I’m staying at a Hibiscus resort. I hope it’s not too far.”

“Luckily, it isn’t. I’ll see you in a few minutes! “

Kakyoin put his phone away and walked out the door with Jotaro. “Good luck, Nori,” Jotaro said as he walked down the street to his house. 

Kakyoin got in his car and started to drive to the hotel you’re staying at.

-Your Pov- 

You waited outside, sitting on the curb. You were nervous he wasn’t going to show. This was your very first date; of course you’d be nervous! Plus, it was getting a bit chilly, and you didn’t bring a jacket. 

Kakyoin pulls his car up in front of you, and you stood up quickly, dusting yourself off and fixing your hair. Kakyoin got out of his car. “Hi [Name]!” He hugged you tightly but not too tightly. “Hi Nori!” You laughed. Maybe it was a bit early for hugs, but you’ll make an exception.

Kakyoin led you to the passenger's side and opened the door for you. As you got in, you softly said thank you and waited for Kakyoin to get in the driver's seat. “Sooo where are we going?!” You said excitedly. 

Kakyoin started his car and began to drive. “Well, I was thinking maybe sushi?” He looks at you while at a stop. He thought you were beautiful and noticed the cherry earrings you were wearing… “Sushi is my favorite. I'm so down to go!” you beamed. He smiled at you and focused back on the road to continue driving. 

“You know you’re really handsome, right?” You said, staring at him. Kakyoin coughed and almost went off course while driving. “O-Oh, well, thank you, [Name]…” His face was as red as his hair. You giggled at the sight of it. Kakyoin turned on the radio, and the song “I Want You” by Savage Garden played. “Hey, I love this song!” You said, and Kakyoin turned the radio up. 

You finally got to a place to eat. Kakyoin got out of the car and opened the door again, holding out his hand. You grabbed it and got out of the car. You stumbled a bit, causing you to fall forward a bit. Kakyoin held his hands out as you caught yourself. “Aha, sorry I can be clumsy.” You said nervously, and Kakyoin laughed and grabbed your hand. “Come on, I'm starving!” He didn’t notice the red in your face because he was turned away from you. 

You both walked into the restaurant and were taken to a table immediately. You two were both given menus and waters. An older woman came to your table: “Hello, sweeties, what can I getcha today?” She seemed like a good person, like your mom. “Hi, miss, can we have the Tekka Maki, please?” Kakyoin said and looked at you. “Can we also get shrimp tempura, please? Thank you!” You said, and you both gave the waitress the menus. 

“Did you know Tempura originated in the 16th century, when Portuguese Jesuits brought the Western-style cooking method of coating foods with flour and frying, via Nanban trade?” Kakyoin said as he fiddled with his hands. You thought it was cute that he was nervously telling you facts. “Oh really? That’s really interesting!” You leaned in on your elbow closer to Kakyoin's face. He became flustered with how close you two were. 

“S-So what brings you to Japan? I'm sure you’ve been interested in coming here for a while, yes?” Kakyoin had to change the subject quickly before he became a mess at the sight of you. You nodded, “Mhm. I’ve been wanting to go since I was a kid. My parents finally gave me the freedom to be out on my own. Well, they came with me, but I've been on my own mostly.” 

Kakyoin nodded and took a sip of his water. “So do you have any friends back home?” You looked a little sad at the reminder that you only had one friend. “Ahhh, I only have one friend, but she’s all I need. What about you? I bet you have a bunch of friends, eh?” 

Kakyoin nodded. “I mean I guess I could say so, but it wasn’t like that before.” You nodded and looked around the restaurant. “I’ve always been alone until recently.” You look back at him. 

“Really? You seem like the kind who’s quiet, yes, but attracts many people, ya know?” You said. Kakyoin shook his head and hummed, “I recently went on a trip to help a family I had just met, including some others!” Kakyoin began to tell you his journey to Egypt. He may have left out a few things, seeing as you weren’t a stand user, but more or less it was an experience. By this point, your food had been delivered, and you began eating while continuing the conversation.

“So is that how you got your scars?” It had gotten quiet, and he wondered what happened to his eyes. “Well, yes, it is, but I’d rather not share what happened. It’d be tricky to explain.” Kakyoin's eyes lowered as he remembered the journey again. The dangers and near-death experiences. You noticed he seemed sad and tried to change the topic to something else.

“Uhh, well, did you know a Mantis Shrimp’s punch is up to 1,500 Newtons of force at speeds of roughly 50 miles per hour?” You blurted out; it was the first thing that came to mind… Kakyoin looked up at you and laughed. “You know my friend Jotaro would be quite interested if you said that to him. Though he might already know it.” 

“Well then, he must be fun around!” You said proudly. Kakyoin looked you dead in your eyes and burst out laughing. “W-What’s so funny?!” You said, confused, wondering why Kakyoin was laughing suddenly. 

“Jotaro is FAR from it! He’s my best friend, and I love spending time with him, but he can be very…closed off.” Kakyoin said, taking a deep sigh. It made you want to meet his friends even more; they seemed interesting. “Well, can I meet all of your friends soon? They can’t all be the same?” 

“I’d be glad to introduce you to my friend [Name],” Kakyoin said softly. 

After some arguing, Kakyoin finally convinced you that he’d pay for lunch as long as you’d pay him back. (He will never let you do that in the future) When you two stepped outside, it got colder than before. 

“Geez, it’s cold!” You said, shivering. You didn’t notice Kakyoin taking off his jacket to give to you. You looked up at him from the sudden warmth. “Aha, thank you, Nori,” You said shyly as Kakyoin nodded.

The two of you were quiet in the car, driving back to the resort. It was almost evening, and you had fallen asleep without realizing it. “Alright, [Name], we’re here- Oh.” Kakyoin saw you asleep, covering yourself with his jacket. You looked so peaceful, and he felt bad that he had to wake you. Kakyoin brushed your hair behind your ear and stared at your earrings and then your face.  

“[Name]? It’s time to go now,” Kakyoin whispered as his hand rested on your cheek. You leaned into his touch and slowly woke up. “Hm, we’re at the resort already?” You sat up, and Kakyo-in's hand didn’t move away from your face. You then realized he was staring at you and that his hand was literally on your face. Suddenly, you two were close, so close you could see his pretty eyes in detail. 

“[Name], I…had a really good time with you.” Kakyoin looked at your lips and then quickly at your eyes. He didn’t want to rush anything if that’s what you didn’t want. “Nori, I had a good time with you too.” You said softly. You also couldn’t stop staring at his lips. 

For a minute, it stayed like that: “Can I kiss you? I mean it’s okay if-“ You shut him up with your lips. Kakyoin was shocked but began to kiss back. The kiss was soft and sweet. You pulled away and could see how red Kakyoin was. It made you giggle. You two stayed there staring at each other until you heard a loud buzz coming from your pocket. It was your mom???

“U-Uh, hello?!” 

“[Name]! How was the date!? Did you two kiss???” 

“Mom, he’s right here! I’ll tell you about it later!!” 

Your mom gasped, “Oh, he’s here? Let me speak to him pleaseee, I want to know the man who swept you off your feet!” 

You sighed but couldn’t help but laugh. “My mom wants to talk to you.” You handed your phone to Kakyoin, who was confused.

“Uhm, hello?” 

You couldn’t hear the other line 

“My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, ma’am, but you can just call me Nori” 

…

“Oh, well, thank you, ma’am!” Kakyoin seemed flustered… 

…

“We did have fun, yes.” 

…

“It was nice meeting you, ma’am!” 

Kakyoin gave you your phone back, and you put it up to your ear. 

“Momma, what did you tell Nori?” 

“Oh, nothing, sweetie, I just said he sounds like a handsome young man, and he’s very lucky!!” 

You sighed, “Alright, Mom, I’ll see you soon.” 

“Bye, sweetie. I love you!”

“I love you too, momma…” You ended the call and looked at Kakyoin. 

“Well, I guess I should go now. Thank you for taking me out. It was really nice” You said softly. “Of course, [Name] In glad we got to be together,” Kakyoin said and then stepped out of the car to open your door. 

You stepped out and hugged him tightly. You both were hugging for a minute until you pulled away. “Bye, Nori, I’ll text you tomorrow.” You kissed his cheek and started walking to the entrance. 

“Bye [Name]…” Kakyoin said softly, touching his cheek. He got into his car, waiting for you to go inside. Once he thought you were safe, he started his car and drove home. 

Once you got to your room, you started squealing and jumped into your bed. Your face was in your pillow as you continued your squealing. You turned around and faced the ceiling. You were thinking about that date nonstop, especially when you kissed Nori. 

“I can’t wait to see him again.” 

It’s finally done lol! I started this at 3am yesterday and now it’s 11pm T-T dw yall I took breaks…I randomly thought of this as I went on. This is actually the most i’ve written

buff!noriaki kakyoin who started bulking after barely surviving Egypt. He doesn't tell anyone, but after all those days, he's terrified of something similar happening or even worse, that something happens to you. He knows that you both have stands to defend yourselves, but having a strong body as a back up is important to him.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who after one year of training and bulking consistently, is huge. He's bigger everywhere, wider shoulders, strong arms, thicker neck and toned thighs. It even looks like he got taller.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who's still getting used to take up more space than before, bumping into doorframes or you when he's crossing a corridor at your apartment. He's not aware that he's bigger yet.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who freezes up one morning when he reaches for the coffee mug on the top shelf and accidentally knocks three others down because his arms take up way more room now. He mutters a quiet sorry and starts picking them up, cheeks a little pink, like he wishes he could shrink back down to the old him.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who catches you staring at him while he's doing pull ups in the living room and immediately drops down, wiping sweat from his forehead with that worried little frown. "Uh, sorry," he says softly, glancing at his own reflection in the window. "I probably should have stopped earlier"

buff!noriaki kakyoin whose eyes go wide when you walk over and slide your hands up his chest, feeling how solid he is under your palms. "I think you look amazing," you reassure him, telling him that he needs to give himself time to get used to it. You love how safe you feel wrapped up in those bigger arms.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who still hesitates sometimes when you cuddle, trying to keep his legs tucked in so he doesn't accidentally push you off the couch. But you just pull one thick thigh over your lap and laugh, telling him you like being surrounded by him. The way his ears turn red is so cute you can't help kissing them.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who starts noticing how people look at him differently when you two go out, and it makes him self conscious until you squeeze his hand and whisper that they're just jealous. You reassure him again and again that he'’'s perfect like this, strong and protective and still your sweet Noriaki underneath all the new muscle.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who slowly learns to own the space he takes. He starts reaching for you with more confidence, lifting you up onto the kitchen counter like it's nothing, his hands so big around your waist. Every time you tell him how hot it is, he gets less shy, starting to believe you.

buff!noriaki kakyoin who wakes up one night from a nightmare about Egypt and instinctively pulls you closer, his broader chest rising and falling fast against your back. You turn around, cup his face and remind him he's stronger now for both of you. He buries his face in your neck and whispers thank you, body relaxing as you trace the new lines of muscle on his shoulders.

You love the way he fills the room now, love how he can carry you around the apartment without breaking a sweat. Nobody could stand you, you always got so pissed off at every little thing and it was so tiring for everyone to put up with. Kakyoin though? He had the patience of a saint for you. Kakyoin never really fit in with anybody but you were open with him. Was it a little difficult to get along with you and your temper? Yes, but he soon was able to learn everything that triggered you and what to avoid. Your friendship bloomed quickly and you have been at his side almost all hours of the day.

Something that you didn’t really know about yourself is that you didn’t lash out at everyone because you were actually angry, but as a sign of stress and exhaustion. Kakyoin, the ever so observant one noticed the real reason for your outbursts. He did his best to help keep you calm or talk you through it, but sometimes you just needed to lash out. Lately though, you’ve been lashing out a lot more. It was beginning to worry Kakyoin as this was unlike any of your other freak outs. He couldn’t calm you down, you were attacking him and when you realized what you said hurt him, you’d shut down.

He couldn’t lie to himself, he was beginning to understand why people couldn’t stand you. He quickly told himself that he needed to get over it because he still loved you dearly. However, every day was just more and more mentally draining for him. He was always trying to calm you down and you were just so stubborn lately. While you shut down when you felt bad, you panicked internally. “What if he’s done with me?! What if I’m pushing him away..? All he’s been is nice to me, why do I always snap at him!?” But one man really made everything fall apart. Jotaro Kujo.

Yes, he saved Kakyoin, but he took Kakyoin away. Little by little you stopped seeing Kakyoin altogether. He’d probably realized Jotaro is far better than you could ever be. He will never come back to you. Well, at least that’s how you saw things. Kakyoin was trying to reach out to you, but you closed yourself off from everyone. You were scared of yourself. You thought you pushed your only friend away. You were driving yourself into a further depressed state. All you could do was overwhelm yourself with terrible possibilities.

You felt horrible thinking that your anger had driven everyone away. You lost your only friend. What now? Nobody likes you, you can’t just go try and make friends..after a few weeks, you began imagining what it would be like if you were gone. For days you considered it and tears spilled from your eyes when you realized the difference wouldn’t be crazy. In fact, just a slight change. You weren’t close to anybody anymore. Kakyoin had simply moved on from you. What were you gonna do? Force him to stay with you?

You soon decided that you should go through with taking your life. But you wanted to plan it first. You felt like you’ve never had any control of anything your entire life. Now you just wanted to feel like you’ve never could plan one thing without it being a disaster. You thought about it long and hard. Overdosing felt wimpy to you. You put so many through pain having to deal with you and your outbursts, so you wanted it to hurt. Taking a gun to your head would make it quick. You wanted to suffer though. Putting a knife to your stomach sounded good to you. You would slowly bleed out and it would hurt like a bitch. But when? You wanted it to be soon so you gave yourself a week, at around 10:00 p.m.

You were satisfied with it this plan. Now, you were gonna try and be the best version of yourself for your remaining seven days. The first day, you didn’t glare at anyone, you helped your classmates, but you refused to look at Kakyoin. For some reason, he was intimidating you, like he knew about your plan. He had no idea but he did notice you avoided him. For the second day, you participated more, laughed more, even if it wasn’t exactly real. You went to a nicer place to eat, and still avoided Kakyoin. On the third day, Kakyoin was upset now. Why wouldn’t you talk to him? You ran away every time he came up to you. Had he done something? He asked Jotaro to keep an eye on you. He reluctantly agreed and you immediately noticed Jotaro watching you closely. This made you freak out even more. Did he know too? Was your plan going to be ruined? On the third night, you thought about killing yourself earlier, but you were cut off from your thoughts with a knock on your door.

Your parents opened it before you could get to it. You were in the hallway leading to the door when you saw Kakyoin at your front door. Your heart fell to your stomach. He invited himself into your home and he saw you standing in the middle of the hall, looking frightened. You nervously greeted him and walked to your room, not inviting him but he followed anyway. Once he had you cornered in your room and gently shut the door and looked at you with sharp eyes.

“Y/N, what’s been going on? You’ve ignored me for the past couple days and I want to know if everything is okay..have I done something that upset you?”

His voice was soft like talking to a scared animal based off the expression on your face. He could see you twiddling your thumbs and looking around the room. You weren’t focused on him, clearly worried about something else. You barely answered him on time

“Well..no, I just assumed that you wanted to spend more time with Jotaro? I see you’ve become his friend, no?”

You tried your best to not make it sound like jealousy, and you can barely look him in the eye for more than four seconds. Your eyes darted around the room, slightly widening when they landed on your desk where there was an open notebook. That was your suicide plan. Mentally cursing yourself, you go over to close it and put it away neatly

“Why would you assume I wanted time alone with Jojo? Y’know, you really had me worried that something had happened and you weren’t telling me!”

He tried lightly joking to lift the mood, but to no avail. You heard your name being called by your parents asking you to go to them. You excused yourself out of the room, leaving Kakyoin alone there. Now, he saw the notebook and thought it was a little suspicious. He saw about where the page was and while you were gone, he used that time to go through that notebook. He was sure you were hiding something and he wanted to know what was bothering you.

He gently strides towards your desk, checking to make sure you weren’t gonna come back right away. When he was in the clear he was able to instantly find the notebook and he had seen just about where it was open to. What he didn’t know was that you’d written everything you’d been feeling in here too. He only meant to read the specific page you were on before closing the notebook but his curiosity peaked when he saw his name in the notebook.

You wrote about how you felt about him. You wrote about how you cared about him more than anything and even if it was selfish, it hurt to see him being taken away from you by Jotaro. Kakyoin was your only friend and you didn’t mean to push him away. You thought he was beautiful in every manner and yet insisted it was platonic. He smiled a little but the more he read, the sadder it got. As you wrote more, he hung out with Jotaro more than you. You felt like you pushed him away or you weren’t good enough. You felt angry towards Jotaro for taking him away. Then he could start to see the suicidal thoughts becoming laced within your work.

It started minimal, mentioning something about death every once in a while, or even hurting yourself. But as he read on, the suicidal thoughts that roamed through your head became more clear on paper. You wrote about how you wondered what death was like, or if it would ever matter in the end. But in each entry, you always wrote about him. Worrying about him. If you died would he be okay? Was that narcissistic to think he’d even feel a little sad by your death?

He wrapped up the page he was on as he heard you approaching your room. However, he didn’t read fast enough, because when you walked back into your room, he’d just closed the book, clearly trying to put it back. You froze. You thought he read the page with your suicide plans. You felt anger and betrayal from him. Why was he snooping?!

“I can’t believe you. I don’t care that you know now. I won’t let you stop me! So try all you want, the outcome will still be the same!”

You sounded angry but also scared. He could see you slightly shaking from fear. He had not read the page you were talking about. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly at you before speaking up, confused

“..What are you talking about..?”

You panicked internally when you realized you totally gave yourself away. He began to open the notebook again, and you jumped at him. He turned around and you latched onto his back, trying to grab the notebook. You scratched his back and called his name angrily, trying to prevent him from reading it. When he turned to that specific page, you tried to cover his eyes and make him lose balance. He let you stay against him like this, but you tried everything in your power. You couldn’t win. He’d really read it this time. You could tell when a small gasp emitted from his lips.

In fear, you get off of him and scramble to the other side of the room. He gently closed the notebook and softly placed it on the table. He stared at you, tears welling in those beautiful, gentle eyes. No words needed to be said. There was total silence. He could hear your unsteady breathing as you tried not to cry. What made things scarier for you is that right before he came into your room, you wrote on that same page he just read that you planned on killing yourself earlier in fear someone would know and stop you.

Kakyoin took a few steps towards you which resulted in you backing yourself up against the wall. You were crying a little more now. He didn’t stop moving, and he eventually wrapped you in an embrace. He leaned his head down and whispered how much you meant to him and that he loved you. Of course, his words did not reach you in this state.

You fell apart in his arms, crying louder as you tried to struggle against him. He wouldn’t let you go, but he was still gentle. Eventually you had no choice but to give in completely and stop struggling, to which he pulled you closer. All he could think about was how thankful he was that he showed up tonight. If he hadn’t, who knows where you’d be currently. He was also a little surprised your parents weren’t coming to see the commotion, and when he asked you where they were, you told him they’d be gone for about a week for an emergency. This gave him lots of ideas now that he knew you two would be alone.

He walked over to a spot on your floor and sat down, pulling you down with him into his lap. You were sobbing uncontrollably and leaned against him. A gentle hand ran through your hair as an attempt to calm you. He could see it wasn’t working, so he decided to be bold and place a gentle kiss on your face. You stopped crying for a moment, as if processing before going back to sobbing. A lightbulb lit up above his head and he began kissing you all around your face, trying to avoid your lips as best as he could. It worked for a little, but then you got used to his face kisses. Kakyoin stared at your lips for a moment before deciding to go through with it. He placed his lips on yours. He didn’t immediately pull away, instead placing a soft hand on your cheek to pull your face closer. He ever so slightly deepened the kiss before he hesitantly pulled away. He watched your shocked expression turn flustered

“..Kakyoin..?”

He put a finger to your lips and shushed you, smiling softly. He thought you were the cutest thing and he placed another kiss to your lips. It was distracting you well, and it was also distracting him. He began deepening the kisses further and further, until you guys were making out. Neither of you knew how it happened but now he had you pinned and he couldn’t pull away from your lips.

When you were both worn out from making out and crying, he lifted you to your bed before joining next to you and cuddling up to you, whispering how much you mean to him as you doze off into a well deserved rest..

Alright so really stupid idea popped into my head. Polnareff x reader where he stumbles onto the fourth wall on complete accident and finds out he can communicate with the reader, cause that just sounds like the kind of shit that'd happen to him in a bathroom. I feel like he'd be the type to get a big head over being a famous character once he finds out. Reader gives him tips on future Stand users and also tells him Avdol's alive after the Hanged Man fight but other than that occasionally they'll talk about what reader's world is like, maybe a bit of flirting sprinkled in. Once Part 3 ends it's a bittersweet parting until reader remembers "oh shit part 5" and skips to the episodes with Polnareff and it's all "wow reunion! Also uhhhh you're gonna turn into a turtle soon" "wait what"

Maybe as a bonus Silver Chariot Requiem does something relating to the reader since a Requiem Stand's power depends on what the user wants in that moment? Up to you!

Polnareff was bent over inspecting a bidet that looked more like a control panel for a rocket ship, when the air just rippled.

He blinked rubbing his eyes. There, floating right above the sink, was a glowing, translucent rectangle.

It looked like a window, but instead of the bustling Pakistani streets, it showed a room he didn’t recognize. And sitting in that room, staring directly back at him with wide disbelieving eyes, was you.

"What kind of Stand is this?!" Polnareff yelled, immediately summoning Silver Chariot. The rapier flashed, but it passed clean through the window striking nothing but air.

"Wait, don't stab me!" you blurted out, dropping your phone.

Polnareff froze. His Stand dissolved back into light. He leaned closer to the mirror, his signature flat-top hair practically brushing the glass. "You... you can see me? You speak French? No, wait, your lips aren't matching the words, but I hear you perfectly..."

"I'm reading subtitles," you said honestly it sounded kinda dumbfounded still trying to process the fact that a fictional French anime man was shouting at you from your laptop screen. "Polnareff, listen to me. I'm not a Stand user. I’m from... well, another universe. To me your whole life is a story. A manga...sorta.. comic? An anime."

Polnareff’s brows furrowed. He crossed his arms, looking deeply skeptical. "A story? Moi? Capable, dashing Jean-Pierre Polnareff, a mere drawing?" He scoffed, but then a thought struck him, and his expression instantly shifted into a smug, blinding grin. "Wait. If I am in a story... am I the main character? The hero who slays Dio and saves the world?"

"Uh, technically Jotaro is the main character," you mumbled.

His face fell dramatically. "Jotaro?! That moody teenager? Phooey! The audience must have terrible taste." He leaned against the sink, flashing a suave, devastating smile through the portal. "But surely, I am the most popular? The most handsome? The one the readers fall desperately in love with?"

You couldn't help but laugh, the initial shock fading into amusement. "Yeah, Polnareff. You're a fan favorite. People love you."

"Ah, I knew it!" He kissed his own knuckles, his ego swelling to maximum capacity. "The universe recognizes true style! So, my lovely viewer from beyond the veil... what brings you to my bathroom?"

The portal didn't disappear. It became a recurring, chaotic feature of Polnareff's journey. Whenever he found a private moment usually in a bathroom, much to his chagrin and your endless amusement the glowing window would open.

What started as a bizarre anomaly quickly became his secret weapon, and your favorite part of the day.

"Listen to me carefully," you told him a few days later, leaning close to your screen. "When you get to Egypt, look out for a blind man named N'Doul. His Stand uses water. Do not let Iggy wander off."

"A blind man? Water? Got it," Polnareff muttered, scribbling furiously on a piece of hotel stationery. He paused, looking up at you with soft, surprisingly warm eyes. "You know, you are like a gorgeous guardian angel. A little creepy that you watch me while I sleep, but I can overlook it for a face like yours."

"I don't watch you sleep!" you flustered, turning bright red. "The anime cuts to commercials!"

"Pity" he cooed, winking. "You are missing a spectacular show, chérie."

But your most important piece of advice came after the devastating battle with J. Geil and Hol Horse. Polnareff was sitting on the floor of a dingy bathroom, his head in his hands, weeping bitterly over the loss of Avdol.

"Polnareff," you whispered, your heart aching as you reached out, your fingers pressing against the cold glass of your screen, mirroring where his shoulder would be. "Jean-Pierre, look at me."

He raised his tear-stained face. "I killed him," he choked out. "It was my arrogance..."

"He's not dead," you said firmly.

Polnareff stopped breathing. "What?"

"Avdol is alive," you promised him. "The bullet only grazed his skull. He’s recovering in secret. Joseph and Jotaro know, but they’re keeping it from you so Hol Horse doesn't find out. I shouldn't be telling you this, it messes up the timeline, but... I can't watch you cry like this."

Polnareff stared at you, a breathless, beautiful mix of shock and overwhelming relief washing over his face. He threw his hands against the portal, his palms lining up perfectly with yours. "Alive... oh, thank God. Merci, my beautiful star. I swear, when this is all over, I will find a way into your world and kiss you properly."

....

The final battle came and went. Through the portal, you watched him mourn Iggy, Kakyoin, and the real loss of Avdol. You were there when he stood on the docks, saying goodbye to Jotaro and Joseph.

That night, in his quiet hotel room, the portal opened one last time. It was flickering violently, the edges fraying like static.

"It's closing, isn't it?" Polnareff asked quietly. The cocky, larger than life Frenchman was replaced by a man who looked incredibly tired, carrying the weight of a survivor.

"Yeah," you choked out, tears blurring your vision. "The part is over. The credits are rolling."

Polnareff walked up to the window. He didn't flirt, he didn't brag. He just looked at you with profound, genuine affection. "You saved my life, you know. More than once. And you kept me sane in the darkest hours. I don't care if I am just lines on paper to your world. What I feel for you is real."

He pressed his lips to the glass.

"Goodbye, mon amour," he whispered.

The portal snapped shut. The screen went black.

You sat in your room for a long time, crying over a ghost in a story.

"Wait, What?!"

Twelve years later though in your universe, about ten minutes of clicking through a streaming menu.

You sat up fast in bed, a sudden realization hitting you like a freight train. Golden Wind....Italy 2001.

"Oh shit, Part 5!" you screamed, practically slamming your fingers onto your keyboard. You bypassed the entire Passione storyline, aggressively skipping through episodes until you reached the Colosseum.

Suddenly, your room started to vibrate. The familiar, long-dormant crackle of reality splitting echoed through your bedroom. A massive, jagged purple tear ripped open in mid-air.

On the other side, sitting in a wheelchair in the shadows of the Roman Colosseum, was an older, scarred, but unmistakably familiar man.

"Polnareff!" you shrieked.

Polnareff gasped, his one good eye widening in absolute shock as he looked up at the floating window. "No... it cannot be. You? After all these years?!" A massive, radiant grin broke through his weathered face. "Ha! I knew you'd come back for me! Did you miss my handsome face? I've aged like a fine wine, non?"

"Polnareff, there's no time!" you panicked, leaning halfway out of your bed. "Listen to me very carefully. A guy named Diavolo is coming up the stairs right now. Do not fight him normally! And most importantly-"

"Ah, do not worry, my love, I have a plan! I have the Arrow, and if worst comes to worst, Silver Chariot will-"

"Polnareff, you're going to turn into a turtle!"

The cocky smile vanished instantly. He blinked. "...Excuse me?"

"Your Stand is going to switch everyone's souls, and your soul is going to get trapped in a ghost room inside a turtle!" you yelled desperately. "You're going to spend the rest of your life as a reptile, Jean-Pierre!"

"Wait, what?!" Polnareff squawked, his voice cracking exactly the way it used to in 1989. "A turtle?! Why a turtle?! Why not a lion, or an eagle, or-"

"Just don't let him break the Arrow!"

Before he could respond, the heavy doors of the Colosseum rattled. Diavolo had arrived. Polnareff looked back at the door, then back at you, panic and confusion sweating through his brow. "A turtle?! Mon Dieu, I hate Italy!"

The battle played out exactly as destiny demanded. Silver Chariot was pierced by the Arrow. The light went blindingly white Requiem was born.

A Requiem Stand grants the user exactly what their soul desires most in the moment of crisis. Polnareff desperately wanted to keep the Arrow away from Diavolo, to protect the future.

But deep down, in the subconscious recesses of his fading soul, he harbored one other, fiercely desperate wish. To finally touch the person who had guided him through the dark.

As Chariot Requiem walked aimlessly through the streets of Rome, putting the city to sleep and swapping their souls, the cosmic tear in your bedroom expanded.

The physical form of Silver Chariot Requiem didn't just walk in Rome. A shadowy, silent silhouette of the Stand materialized right in the center of your bedroom. It didn't attack. It didn't move. It just stood there, holding the Arrow, acting as a massive, permanent anchor between your reality and his.

Through the massive, now-unbreakable portal in your wall, you looked down at the Coco Jumbo turtle sitting on the Colosseum floor.

The turtle looked up, its tiny eyes blinking at the massive window connecting a high-tech bedroom to ancient Rome.

A spectral, ghostly projection of Polnareff's 1989 self floated up from the turtle, looking around your room in absolute awe. He looked at your desk, your posters, and finally at you.

"Well" the ghost of Polnareff said, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish, incredibly fond grin. "It is not exactly how I pictured our first proper date... but at least I don't have to worry about finding a clean bathroom anymore. Want to watch a movie, chérie?"

You walk into a dimly lit room, wondering when your boyfriend will take a break. “Rohan, when the hell are you taking a break? It’s been hours, and I want attention!” you huff. You’ve been with Rohan for a short time now, and you're still adjusting to being in a relationship.

Rohan glances at you, a bit annoyed that you even came into his studio. “I’m not finished yet; you can sit next to me until I'm done if you want to wait a few more hours.” He says in a snarky tone. 

Geez, this man is sassy, you thought as you rolled your eyes. You sat next to Rohan, watching him do his work. You knew he was stubborn, and you were just as bad. 

After a good 30 minutes, you growled, “How much do you need to get done!? I’m so tired of this already.” Rohan looked over at you and rolled his eyes 

“It’s my job; of course it’ll take hours!” He points at you with a pen in his hand. You scoffed and snatched the pen he was currently holding. “HEY, GIVE THAT BACK!”

You reach your arm out so far that he couldn’t reach it, which made you giggle. He almost fell because of how much he was trying to reach your hand holding the pen. “[NAME] COME ON!!” 

You burst out laughing, and you fell back in your chair. “Ow…” You felt a pounding in your head, and Rohan grabbed his pen back. “You’re stupid; you know that?” 

You got up and rubbed the back of your head. “Now can you take a break? I’m bored…” Rohan only rolled his eyes, but thought it was nice that you wanted him around. 

“Okay, fine. But not too long, I need to get this done.” Rohan said as he put his pen down, hugged you from the side, and kissed your cheek. You laugh and hug him fully. “I missed you,” you whisper. 

Rohan eventually hugs back. “I missed you too.”
