Alright Video Time! I put together a quick video showing a bit of what the current state of the game is. We have new levels, UI and playable characters. Anyway, back to work!
We're back
Hello! Hack and Havoc was put on hold for a while due to some organizational problems but we're returning with more content. The Game has come a good ways further. For now here's some UI work:

I should of posted this a long time ago. It's a week or so old but this is some progress on the game-play. The video demonstrates some of the basic game mechanics as well as the dialogue system. I will soon upload an updated video with refined mechanics as well as the game's tutorial levels.

Character Update
We have a big update here. Sorry no gameplay yet as there have been issues with recording it.

I also started making a sculpt of hack which will be translated into 2 low-poly versions, one for IOS and one for PC.
Lastly David has started putting together a action shot of the character for fun.

Early Concepts of Hack and Havoc
Progress has begun on the game. David has kindly gone ahead with some early concepts of our protagonists. More will be coming soon. Some game-play implementation is underway as well, a video will be posted soon.
Development of Hack and Havoc
Welcome to the Development of Hack and Havoc. We are currently a team of two working to release our first game. We are Christoph (myself) and David. We are striving to create an original game with enticing characters and creative gameplay.
I had originally thought of the idea of combining the classic 2D platformer and top-down style games. This was an interesting feat which I decided to tackle by making a 3D game. The idea was to make a platform game but give the player the ability to walk on walls to solve puzzles. When walking on walls the game would switch to top-down style play.
With this initial idea I decided to try and gather a team together but eventually figured it would be better to keep the group small to start out. I approached David with the idea. After showing interest and giving input we went on to refine the game and get started.
We will be updating this blog as often as possible so I hope you enjoy viewing the progress of our game.
