“Oh you have a Goddaughter? How nice.” He smiled, “I’m the youngest of my lot. So I spent a lot of time being babied rather than being around them. My brother was the worst.” Though he couldn’t find himself to wholly hate it, “Well, he was anyway.” He chuckled, “Who doesn’t love Halloween? Heck, I’m dressed up for it now.” He gestured at his outfit. “Monarchies are very interesting, especially for looking at the social graces of a nation.” He smiled softly, “Well, that’s probably why it suits me so well. I’m a dab hand at lying as needed.”
“Did you have many siblings then?” She asked curiously with a tip of her head to the side. “I just have my younger brother. My chummy Ella is the one with the babe. Though, I don’t see my goddaughter as much as I really should.” Hadley said regrettably. Laughing, she nodded at his costume, “Very dashing, that is.” Screwing up her face, Hadley answered playfully, “I’ll have to keep that in mind. Mind you, I’m rather gullible and proper awful at telling when people are lying. I just enjoy the family dynamics of the monarchies.”
