Anyone who knows Haemin knows that he is a self proclaimed romantic. He's spent countless hours watching romantic movies and tv series, always wanting to find something that looks and feels like it. So when Haemin falls in love he falls quite hard and way too deeply than is probably healthy for him. Being an introvert and on the shyer side of things he tends to pine quietly and from afar, although his blushing cheeks probably give him away. He's gotten better about vocalising his wants and needs so maybe… next time he falls for a person he'll actually have the guts to tell them.

Since he falls for people hard, the breakup stage hits different too. Well, it's been mostly situationships but those count too! Haemin is a notorious people pleaser and his mental 'I can fix them' gymnastics sets him up to be in relationships that aren't necessarily healthy. He doesn't want to give up on people because everyone deserves a shot at happiness, even as he's slowly falling apart trying to keep whatever it is they afloat. But hopefully after some soul searching (and self help books) he can finally get some positive growth and reflect on if he actually misses the relationship or the ideal version of it he built up in his head.

Yes, this song is corny as hell but hear me out, so is Haemin. As I've said before Haemin is truly the gentlest soul who wants nothing more than to bring happiness and comfort to people. Unfortunately by giving everything and then some, he's been trying to pour from a cup that's empty which, you know, is not it. After a few realisations he's now in his personal growth era and being his own goddamn champion instead of the quiet wallflower he used to be. Is he more cynical and jaded? I don't think so, but he's definitely been working on his assertiveness and boundaries.

Oh look, another song that emphasises just how much Haemin ruined himself by trying to be people's everything. The old him would either give you his jacket or literally set himself on fire if you told him you were cold. Like, he was (and still kind of is) an open book who gives himself freely to others which, in the hands of more manipulative and evil people, could be disastrous. Luckily he's always been very lucky with friends (according to himself). Now that he's older and more grown, he's come to realise that boundaries are a healthy part of life and that he really should be drawing the line in the sand to protect his own well being.

As much as I've been harping on about him being able to draw healthy boundaries that still doesn't change the fact that at his core he is someone who needs to be needed and wants to love and nurture those who perhaps haven't received enough of it. This song is dedicated to his best (and childhood) friend @lgcminkyu. What started out as some drunken idiocy and a mutual longing for human connection has maybe started the wheels turning in Haemin's head about what life could be like together… But he knows his friend would push him away to protect his heart but being stubborn and optimistic, he's certain that with time and showing up consistently will be key.

Hello, it's the Yoo Haemin from 2025, writing to you, the younger Haemin of the past. It's been five years since we--you--joined LGC as a trainee and let me just say, a lot of things have happened since we signed that contract.

There have been good times and there have been bad, and there have just been times where it felt like nothing was happening at all but despite it all we persevered and now we are here, an actor. That's right, we are now signed as an actor under LGC Agency! If only the middle school boy from Busan could see us now. I just know he'd be a little bit starstruck and very proud.

I remember sitting on my bed in the dorm the first night wondering if this was actually my path in life. Everything was so new and unfamiliar. For the first time I was truly alone and it was honestly fucking scary. Being the introvert we were (and still are) we kept to ourself most of the time and practiced diligently, even on the days where it felt like we'd only just hit the pillow only to have the alarm go off and wake up to do it all over again. But there is certain comfort in repetition, in having a schedule, living your life on autopilot as it were, so just keep on swimming as Dory from Finding Nemo says.

And we kept on swimming even when we felt like quitting and moving back to Busan. Well, actually one of the coaches got us through that mental breakdown and I'll forever be eternally grateful for having them talk us down. It was a bad time but we pushed through it and came out stronger because of it. Never underestimate the power of caffeine, sleep deprivation, and sheer dogged determination.

On top of just normal trainee and actor things, your personal life is about to get messier than you've ever experienced before (but the bar is so low...). There will be many new experiences, so many of them good, but there will also be heartbreak and personal growth. Learning how to set healthy boundaries will be a lifesaver for your mental health (and heart). Oh, and become more proactive in going after things you want in both your professional and personal life. Also, learn to lean on your friends and let them in closer.

character development questions

Five years. It had been five years since he had joined the company as a trainee and Haemin could honestly that he wasn't the same person now as he was then. Not that he really expected to be, five years was a long time, and he'd met so many people and experienced many new things that had shaped him into who he was currently.

Which do you find more appealing: to be loved, to be admired, or to be feared?

"To be admired," he replied with a slight tilt of his head, "since love can sometimes grow from admiration it's kind of a two for one deal." Haemin chuckled as he continued to elaborate on his reasoning. "I do classify myself as a romantic and would love to be loved but I think admiration wins out by a hairsbreadth. If I am admired then perhaps I am also inspiring and if I am inspiring than perhaps I can help someone realise a dream or some type of goal in life. Or maybe I'm just a source of comfort during hard times."

When you want to do something, do you dream about it or do you take action?

"If you had asked me this a few years ago I would have chosen the former but now I think I can say the latter. While I am still relatively new to the acting scene and not that well known I am come to realise that one must be proactive in securing roles whether that's through studying extra material or taking additional classes to excell in certain things or through networking and dogged auditioning. The world doesn't owe you anything and it is very rare that an amazing opportunity will drop straight into your lap with no work whatsoever."

When someone wrongs you, do you respond with revenge or forgiveness?

"Ah, I am not really one to go out and seek revenge. It's not my style. I do tend to tread the path of forgiveness more often than not, my friends can attest, but that doesn't mean that I forget. Even if I forgive someone for a transgression, I have learnt to draw a boundary so that it doesn't happen again. I may be quiet and kind but I am not a doormat."

What is at the top of your professional bucket list?

"At the very top of my list is to be cast in a romance drama, whether it be a lead role or in a supporting one, and being able to sing one of the songs on the OST. Or maybe not even a romance, but I would love to be able to showcase that side of me. I think it could show my versatility as well as be a type of thank you gift to my fans who have stood by me during my career."

Sodium. Unhealthy. Bloated. Minkyu’s heard it all before. More times than he can count. It’s practically a mantra at this point, usually followed by the familiar cadence of Haemin’s voice delivering lovingly stern reminders about his eating habits. And yet, every time, it still sparks that same booming laugh from deep in Minkyu’s chest - the kind of laugh that crinkles his eyes and momentarily lifts the weight of the world from his shoulders. Because behind the nagging is care, and behind the care is someone who’s never wavered. Haemin, steady as ever, a constant in a world that changes too fast and too often.

He sometimes wonders how he got lucky enough to have someone like that in his life; someone who never once looked at him with judgment, only understanding. But any trace of sentimentality vanishes the moment Haemin lets slip the scandal of the night: his love life, or rather, his lack thereof.

Minkyu practically does a double take, eyebrows climbing like they’re trying to escape his forehead. “No way. What do you mean you have no love life?” He says it like it’s sacrilege, like Haemin just declared he’s sworn off ramen forever.

A dramatic wave of his hand follows. “Hyung, come on. I’m sure there’s a whole secret fan club out there, waiting, pining for you. You’re literally perfect.” And he means it - alcohol or not. Though, admittedly, the alcohol does nudge the sincerity right to the surface, unfiltered and without shame.

He leans back, smug and proud. “Me? I’ve got my anime waifus and, of course, my fans - girlfriends, I mean. They keep me company. They never ghost me. Never complain. Always cute.” He taps his temple with faux wisdom. “I’ve accepted my fate. No one’s meant for me. I’m a delulu boy and I’ve made peace with it. Delulu is the solulu.”

You're literally perfect.

As if. Haemin could only snort in mild self-deprecation at his friend's sweet, but misguided, statement. He was far from perfect. He wasn't like anything from a romantic drama: rich, handsome, and charismatic. Sure, he did think that he was cute enough to appeal to people who liked that sort of thing and he was fairly sure that he was in fact a nice guy (and not a 'nice guy tm') but perfect? That seemed like a stretch. As for a secret fanclub... it was so secret it was like it didn't exist, although the mental image of a small group of women meeting and talking about him in some cafe made him chuckle inwardly.

"I meant what I said. I don't have a love life. People don't like me like that," he replied with another prod of his foot. "I mean... I know I do have some fans who enjoy seeing me around sns but other than that it's pretty much dry."

With a loud sigh, Haemin grabbed one of his smaller pillows and threw it at Minkyu's face. "Never say that sentence ever again in my presence, please. I think my whole body cringed and I pulled a muscle in my back as a result," he teased. "You may be delusional but I have hope that you will find someone to hold at night that's a real person and not a body pillow."

Haemin smiled as he gazed at Minkyu, the alcohol fuzzies making his brain tingle pleasantly. He scooted close enough to smoosh both of Minkyu's cheeks between his hands gently shaking his head as he laughed quietly. "How are you so cute, hm? So cute and still so single. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a boyfriend, you know that right? My little Kuromin~" He let his friend go, settling in next to him, chin on his shoulder.

"Should we just grow old together? I cook, you clean... it works out, no?"

Whilst Haemin did enjoy sweet things, pastries and cakes more than anything, he was beginning to reach that age where the highest compliment he could give a dessert was 'it's not too sweet' which he kept at the forefront of his mind as he set about to create his little bite of heaven. He decided to go for something more unconventional than usual fruit, nougat, or caramel filling, a nod to a more traditional and Korean flavour: sweet red bean paste. The outer shell he decided would be a white chocolate shaped and airbrushed to resemble a bungeo-bbang, one of his favourite winter delights.

It was probably very different from what people would expect but somehow it felt very 'Haemin'.

Hello,

this is actor Yoo Haemin, or Minmin as my beloved fans know me as! This is the first time I've tried my hand at creating a chocolate and I think a lot of you will be surprised by the flavour. As you can see my inspiration for it is clearly bungeo-bbang, a snack that brings back many memories and one I still look forward to buying every time the weather turns cold. There's just something so comforting about holding that warm paper bag, the delicious smell wafting upwards together with the steam, and that initial crunch as you bite into it.

Just as a freshly made bungeo-bbang I hope to be a comfort to everyone who needs it. Let's be happy and healthy and walk the flower path together~!

“Obviously I am. Pff.” Minkyu lifts his chin with exaggerated flair, feigning arrogance in the most theatrical way. Whether it’s the soft buzz of alcohol making him extra dramatic or simply his natural tendency to lean into the humor of a moment, even he isn’t sure. Not that it matters. What matters is that he feels at ease here, in Haemin’s apartment, in this warm little pocket of comfort where he doesn’t have to filter himself.

“You should feel extremely honored I carved out time in my very hectic, high-demand schedule just for you.” he declares, nose scrunching as he reaches out to pinch Haemin’s cheek, laughter bubbling up from his chest.

His legs are sprawled across the couch, relaxed, toes wiggling slightly in his socks. He takes another sip of his drink and pauses, letting the quiet hum of the evening settle over them. “I’m good. Yeah,” he says after a moment, shoulders lifting in a slight shrug. “Not sure what kind of answer you’re expecting, hyung. You know me ... I’m either working nonstop or disintegrating into my couch with anime marathons and too many cups of instant noodles.”

He sets his drink aside, shifting to lean back on his elbows, head tilted just enough to study Haemin’s face in the soft light of the room.g. “How about you?” he asks, voice quieter now, not quite serious but more grounded. “Did you find someone cute, or are you still ghosting your own love life?”

An exaggerated eyeroll followed by a low whine and a nose scrunch of annoyance as Haemin's cheek is pinched by nimble fingers. It's not that he minds but he should be the one pinching Minkyu's cheeks! After all he is the older one and Minkyu is very cute and cheeks squish-able. Hmph. He'll get him next time when he least expects it.

"Mmm," he hums in agreement, smiling at the description of his friend. "You're either manic or bedrotting. You're a man of extremes to say the least. Buuuut have you considered, uh, not being so extreme?" Haemin laughed before taking another drink of his beer. "But like, for real. The key to everything is moderation. Work too hard and you might burn out or injure yourself and going on day long anime binge sessions isn't exactly the picture of health either." Lecturing his younger friends was one shortcoming that Haemin had that he knew he should work on, but tonight was not that night. "Plus all the sodium in those cup noodles makes your face bloat something insane in the morning. You like a minion, no offence."

Ah.

A soft sigh escaped Haemin's lips as he drained his drink, placing the now empty can on the table. He contemplated standing up to grab another but let his body lean back on one of his soft pillows, slumping slightly as he unfurled his legs to poke Minkyu's leg with a toe. "I've had work, which has been great, but for the foreseeable future I'm quite free, in all aspects of life," he replied with a chuckle and another toe prod. "And you know hyung doesn't have a love life so it doesn't really count as ghosting if it doesn't exist, you brat."

And your hyung has bad taste in men but let's not talk about that right now.

"And what of your prospects? Is there someone I can give my stamp of approval too? 2D girls don't count though~!" Haemin teased gently with a soft giggle. "I bet you have a ton of anime waifus though."

Haemin sat crossed leg on his sofa facing @lgcminkyu, beer in hand, with a soft smile on his face. It had been too long since they'd gotten together for a chat over good food and drink so his natural Busan dialect was well and truly emerging from its cage as the evening progressed. Of course he had cooked, he knew his friend would accidentally burn his whole flat down if asked to do so much as boil the water for pasta but he'd enjoyed it. The feeling of having another person over to talk and laugh with. Someone who knew him and with whom he could be himself.

Now, a few beers in, Haemin was in that warm fuzzy state where everything seemed a little warmer and softer, as if someone had put a filter over his whole being. "You never contact me anymore," he accused, pointing a finger at Minkyu, which was a lie. They did exchange messages pretty regularly but where was the fun in saying that? "It's been months since we last met up and had dinner together. Are you too cool and famous for your hyung now?" A quiet chuckle punctuated the teasing question as he took another sip of his beer.

"So. How are you? And don't bullshit me, I want to know the truth."

“someone’s been reading self-help books.” there it is again — that shadow of a smile that reads rowon knows a little too much.

he’s no stranger to those sort of books. from time to time, he could be seen dabbling between the pages of ‘the stress-proof brain’ and ‘running on empty,’ but let it be known, he doesn’t read for himself. it’s a window to how other minds operate, why people do the things they do, and most importantly, how he can help them.

haemin was one of rowon’s first projects. back when they first met, rowon was intrigued by haemin’s choice to walk on the sidelines, to keep a low profile, never taking up space, never bothering anyone. it wasn’t a problem – perhaps haemin was just shy and considerate by nature – but rowon made it a problem. for all he knew, the uncle that haemin was living with at the time probably appreciated his nephew keeping to his room. haemin, himself, could’ve preferred the privacy. rowon, however, saw it as ruse to become smaller.

just a little braver was his mantra — and he’s only now realizing that he hasn’t said that to haemin in a while.

“my muscles aren’t that weak.” rowon leans forward, fully expecting haemin to feed him the meat … only to be disappointed when it lands in his bowl. he lets out a small huff and picks at it with his chopsticks, grumbling “so much for being a thoughtful and caring hyung” as he finally takes his first bite.

a question comes casually a few moments later.

“what is it that you want?” he peers up through his lashes and pins haemin with a soulless stare. “if i want something, then i must be the one to take action and make it happen. sounds very specific. what’s prompting that?”

"Why do you say that like it's a bad thing?" Haemin retorted, a small pout playing on his lips. "Isn't self-improvement good? Like, I thought that was the 'in' thing now. Maybe you should try it some time." It was meant in jest but perhaps there was a bit of truth to his last statement.

To Haemin, Rowon felt very much how he had felt in high school: confident, charming, and charismatic. Not that those were necessarily bad things but often he wondered if there was something more behind that picture perfect facade that was presented to the world. Where were his flaws and would he ever get to see them?

"What I want? I mean, it changes depending on the context," he replied, head tilted to the side as he mulled over the question. "In this instance, I want to get one of the Samsung spots. If we're talking career I'd like to have a successful one where I get the chance to work on many different projects and perhaps inspire someone else to pursue acting. But like, what I want overall in life? I... I don't know that just yet. Maybe it's just to be content and happy, but I haven't figured out how to get there. I'm working on it."

Haemin leaned forward to boop Rowon's nose gently with a finger, a smile ligering on his face. "Are you trying to psychoanalyse me? See if there's some underlying trauma for this change? I mean... it's not like it's sudden. It's difficult to be in this industry and not be proactive; if I want to make my mark I can't just sit around and wait, watching the rejections pile up. Carpe diem and all that."

"Why, do you not want me to be more confident?" he asked with a twinkle in his eye. "Are you looking to be my saviour, my knight in shining armour?"

"Hey Allure and Allure viewers! I'm actor Yoo Haemin who plays the mysterious swordsman Yeo Woon in Warrior Baek Dong-soo," he said brightly, a big smile on his face as he bowed to the camera politely. "Today I'm here to answer some questions about the upcoming play and perhaps, later, some miscellaneous things too. Let's go!"

So we heard that you had to learn sword fighting for your role as Yeo Woon. How challenging was it?

"It was really challenging! If you look at me," Haemin waved his hand towards his body, "I'm not the the most athletic guy out there. I was not into sports at all during high school, I was that quiet, studious nerd who would rather sit in the library studying than be outside kicking a ball around, so I lack the basic... coordination those guys would have." He gave a bashful grin and ran a hand through his hair. "I had to train hard but it was worth it in the end. I won't say too much because I don't want to spoil things but the fight scenes are really cool and worth seeing."

If you met your character in real life do you think you could be friends?

"Oh. Interesting. That's... I don't know?" Haemin laughed quietly and shrugged a shoulder. "We're not that similar. Our interests don't overlap really but... I think he would be a good friend to have on your side so maybe I would try to get close to him. But honestly I don't think he'd be very interested in being friends with me, I'm too ordinary and boring. He needs like... someone who could challenge him which is why he and Baek Dong-soo are such good rivals."

One memorable thing from preparing the play?

"The first thing that comes to mind was the way I looked the day after our first swordplay workshop. I had bruises everywhere! I seriously looked like I had been in a fight and lost. I also, at a later date, was so tired that I kind of went on autopilot and almost left rehearsal holding the training sword but luckily someone stopped me before I had to explain myself to the police, which I admit, would've been a funny story too."

Bag check! What are your top three favourite items in your bag right now?

"What?! No one told me that you'd be checking my bag... um, let me see..." Haemin pulled up his soft, bottle green bag and started to rifle through it hoping that nothing weird would fall out and embarrass him. "So, one of my favourite items I keep in my bag is this small tube of sunscreen that I use every day. I love this one because it's silky and super light and doesn't leave you looking ashy. Sunscreen is a very important step of your skincare, remember that! My second favourite item that I have are my little earbuds so that I can listen to music and watch dramas during commute or when I have a moment to relax. Lastly, I always carry some variety of snacks with me in case I, or one of my friends, get hungry. Today my snacks are different kinds of healthy cereal bars."

Haemin does not know if he will ever get used to the camera flashes of a press conference. The smile is small and polite, a mask covering the urge to hide away from the crowd of reporters who are there to look, ask, and write about the project, about them. Luckily he can rely on his colleagues to keep him focused and grounded as they're each asked about their experience regarding Warrior Baek Dong-Soo.

Haemin-ssi, how has being cast for this project helped develop your career?

"Well, this will be the first time for me acting in a theatrical play, which is quite different than acting in front of a camera. I've had to learn how to move and speak in ways that are appropriate for the stage and can really aid the audience in understanding my character, Yeo Woon, and how he thinks. It's been... a challenge but one that I am grateful for as this experience will help me become a better and more well rounded actor who can take on a variety of different projects in the future. I hope!" Haemin let a quick smile grace his face and dipped his head in a quick nod as he acknowledged the obstacles he had faced during the preparation of the play.

What was the most fun part of preparing the play?

"I didn't think that I would enjoy learning how to sword fight as much I did," he admitted with a chuckle, arm swooshing through the air in a mock swing. "Of course it was hard, especially in the beginning, but we had some great and encouraging instructors who I owe all my cool fighting moves to. I honestly don't think we would be able to put on such a high quality performance without them."

So, Haemin-ssi, what are the similarities and differences between you and your character?

"That's a really good question. I don't think that I'm very similar to Yeo Woon at all. He's all... cool and mysterious, and a very good swordsman unlike me. I guess the one thing in common that we have is that we like our privacy. We don't volunteer very much of ourselves unless we're close to someone." Haemin gave an apologetic smile at the short answer.

The vlog style that Haemin had in mind contained minimal talking, just a voice over added later narrating certain moments., and mainly focused on going through the motions of a 'typical day in the life of' featuring his chosen product, the earbuds.

Setting up the cameras in his flat at choice locations the night before his intended day of filming (since he wanted it to be as organic as possible with the minimum amount of retakes) was fairly straightforward. He only hoped that he'd remember that he was being filmed and didn't do anything stupid like strip off in front of the camera as he got dressed.

The first scene is of his alarm going off and a sleepy Haemin turning it off, turning on a few lights before walking down the stairs to the bathroom which then cuts to another camera showing him washing his face (including a quick skin routine) and brushing his teeth. He wondered if it was worth showing his bareface but he wanted it to look natural so he'd take the whatever fallout there was. A shot of his toaster working on his breakfast before showing up all dressed, arguably nicer than he would be on a normal day but who needed to know that? Cuts of Haemin eating, scrolling the news, and washing up followed before showing him grabbing his coat, bag and the earbuds, connecting them to his phone to start listening to music.

The next few scenes were of the commute to the agency office featuring the subway and a quick walk all while showing his earbuds and the ease of use. Changing the volume, skipping tracks, and pausing the music all with just the tip of his finger. Intuitive. Revolutionary.

From commute to work, the earbuds do it all. A scene of a handsfree work call leaving him free to take notes to monitoring one of his latest projects (blurred out for privacy).

And then it's time to go home. Subway with a detour to a shop to pick up some ingredients for dinner. Coming in through the door, popping his earbuds in their charging case and putting them in their special place, in sharp focus, as he shrugs off his outdoor clothes and shoes in the background before walking further into the flat.

Fade to black.

Oh, right, that happened.

"Fine, I don't get sick often." The memory brought a faint smile to Seyoon's lips, though. He didn't like being dependent on people - didn't want to risk the chance of getting used to it, but that one time was nice. Seyoon would have wanted to talk about it more, except he'd gone and made Haemin mad. Oops. He thought he was fine smoking here - guess he had this apartment mixed up with somebody else's.

"I am sorry," he said, letting Haemin get rid of his cigarette. "Don't be mad. Don't be mad~" Seyoon turned his wrist around and tickled Haemin's arm with his index finger. "Tickle tickle. Haemin hyung is the cutest when he's smiling." Although he didn't mind stern Haemin either. It was a side that he hadn't seen much, and that was interesting.

"Just a couple of years." It was the truth because Kim Seyoon was many things, but he was not typically a liar. "And I don't go out seeking for these. I just take what people give me. Well, okay, this box I did steal from my best friend's private collection, but that was for his benefit-" A long story. Maybe he should not get into it now.

"Do you hate the smell?" Seyoon stayed on the kitchen counter, his smile turning mischievous as he hooked a leg around Haemin and used the heel of his foot to bring the other in closer. "Is that why you haven't been giving me kisses?"

Haemin frown deepened as Seyoon tried to play it off with his usual honeyed words and flirtatious smile. Perhaps it would have worked on him in the past but now it just made him even more frustrated about his lack of care. He let out a small huff of annoyance as he found himself trapped and reeled in like a fish by Seyoon's leg, his face now almost too close to the other's.

"I do hate the smell but that's not why I'm giving you a hard time," Haemin replied, pointedly ignoring the quip about withheld kisses. "You know that smoking is bad for you! Your job is reliant on you being healthy and in the best condition... so why do you do it? Stress relief? Remnant of an old habit you can't quite kick? Or don't want to."

yura will admit that getting a nintendo contract wasn't ever something she thought would--or could--happen. this was kind of a big deal, wasn't it? despite not really being an avid gamer (her brief mobile gamer era ended quickly once she got busier and then, eventually debuted, although she'll still play a little here and there if she feels like it, and especially so if somin asked to play something with her), even she knows how important this job is. did she feel unqualified for it? for once, yes - but she's not going to show it, of course. she has to make their 'let's play' video entertaining, or at the very least not boring, so that's what she'll do, whatever it takes.

thankfully, the little bit of animal crossing she played at the halloween party was actually enjoyable--to the point that she picked it up for herself afterwards, albeit she hasn't had much time to really play it a lot--so at least she didn't have to pretend like she was having fun; she actually is even if she doesn't fully know what she's doing yet.

"i do?" she asks back, looking over at haemin's screen to see if he was telling the truth, before noticing the different fruits which causes her mouth to open. "oh! i didn't know peaches were an option... i wish i got those on my island; i got cherries instead." which are fine, because she likes them anyways, but peaches are just so much cuter so she tries to not sound too disappointed - although she does have a slight pout on her face that she doesn't really notice. it doesn't last long anyways because the offer to trade fruits has her perking up happily and she grins wider at haemin. "really? can we? how do i open my airport?"

"Cherries are just as cute," Haemin replied with a smile as he moved his villager to the nearest peach tree for a quick shake. He picked up the three fruits that came raining down before running down towards the southern shore of his island.

"Yeah, your airport should be somewhere at the bottom of your island and like, stick out over the water." Haemin tilted his screen towards Yura, showing his own airport building by the shore. "If you go inside and speak to the dodo bird at the counter he can open up your island for visitors! Then I'll come and give you some peaches for you to plant."

If only real life was as chill as Animal Crossing. Oh, to run around shaking trees and catching bugs the whole day to sell to your local raccoon twins for money to pay back the housing debt you owed to their uncle. Not even a video game was free from the clutches of capitalism.

Haemin walked his character to the beach and made a happy exclamation. "Aw, Lily is out on a walk! She's one of my favourites. So adorable!" He ran up to the mint green frog with a big smile to greet her.
